Hoped this place would be good as it's right near my apartment. Was disappointed with the food and the service.

We assumed, quite wrongly that this place would be good, based on the number of people inside - how wrong can one be! We waited for a table and were led inside, and immediately felt, or rather smelled a strong smell of dampness. We felt...that perhaps it would disappear, but unfortunately it did not, and then we were too embarrassed to leave after having ordered drinks. Matters got worse as the special pasta we ordered was not special at all - apart from the price at a whopping €45 for 3 dishes which were, at best, not even 75 gms of pasta - we ordered some soup to make up for the disappointment, but the lentil soup served was very thin and watery Definitely not an experience I would wish on anyone. Avoid this placeMore
We ordered salad, soup and second meal for both. First starters were brought and ate rather quickly. Then time of endless waiting started. 40min... 70 min...75 mins. All our requests like Madam, excuse, how long ? The waitress demonstratively showed her back and even didn't...turn up. I asked the bill and paid only for what I have asked. They included a meal that I even did not smell. Do not set-they forget about their guest tourists and care nothing....More
This spot was just steps from our hotel and so appealing from the windows we couldn't resist. You can see in the summer the outdoor seating is wonderful too! Always was full when we went by, but they were able to make space and accommodate us...for dinner. It is an excellent restaurant. Typical trattoria of this region. The menu is not expansive but everything is local and freshly prepared. The locals don't eat what we think of as Italian, heaping bowls of pasta and meatballs. The local dish is a type of ravioli as well as polenta dishes. Ask to try the local wines, red or white or a local bubbly they make and you will be pleased. Staff are friendly and helpful and the evening was wonderful! Enjoy!More
We took local cheese plate, bergamese ravioli (the best!!!) and polenta with cheese and speck, and some of their cakes. That was very good! Plus, they work when other restaurants get closed - after 14:30-15:00, that's really convenient if you like to eat at ~five/six...and you want to eat something interesting, not just something :)More
