A grand place all white tablecloths, a little pricey. Food good and local but not exceptional. Depends what you are looking for; I would not go back.

This place was fantastico!!!! The staff and the food was wonderful. Lambrusco was local. The menu was filled with local favorites. I had the tortelli zucca….wow. From beginning to end, I thoroughly enjoyed Hosteria 700. Grazie Mille 🙏🏻
Horrible service and management. I had been bringing my customers to this place since 2020 and been there at least 20 times with a group of 10-45 people and had spent at least €25k with them. Today i bought 12 customers but book for 20...but they insisted that i have to pay additional €440 extra for services and food we didn’t use. Never going to bring my customers there anymore. Horrific and felt daylight robbery from them, given the fact i had spent €25000 in this restaurant.More
We ate here the first night of a bike trip and had a fantastic time. The antipasto was a superb caramelized onion tart. We had a great pasta as well as an entrée and several desserts. It was an out of the way place, with...a charming staff.More
A great lunch with friends where the real spirit of Cremona in a foggy and wet saturday end of november came up. Cotechino with lenticchie and polenta and mostarda was fantastic, unique. Everything else is not important. This dish values the bill! Wine, dessert ......the rest was ta a good level. People was ok and the location is beautiful, old but with the right balance.More
I was so happy they had gluten free pasta, so that's what I ordered with a duck ragout. It was delicious. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere/deco is cozy and elegant at the same time. You can also order the local cremonese dish...bollito (boiled meat) with mostarda ( traditional pickled type side dish, no it's not mustard.) I recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner.More
Whilst the food was average, the friendlines and the service by the staff of the restaurant was very poor. Unfortunately a place not to go back as fortunately there are much better ones in the area.
We deicided to have dinner at this restaurant after reading the reviews. The location is good in an old palazzo. Nice setting. The service was not what we accepted. Not friendly. When we paid the bill and even added a small tip eventhough we we...not impressed the waitress did not even say thank you. The menu was not explained. When we asked what desserts they had. The dessert just handed over the list without an explanation. Such a shame. We are experienced travellers and quite able to compare with other similar restaurants in the region.More
We cannot say enough about this restaurant. The food, the service, the ambiance ... all of it was beyond exceptional. AND, it is incredibly reasonably priced. Dinner at Hosteria 700 was one of the highlights of our time in Northern Italy.
An excellent place a business lunch, and i am sure it is even better for a dinner or for a romantic meal. The historic ambience which dates back to the 18 hundred is really surprising once you get inside and adds passion and maestry to...the excellent food serviced with care and love. I do recommend it.More
Very elegant restaurant. You will feel like royalty. Excellent meals and service! Try the Mostarda a Cremonese specialty. Like candied fruit dipped in wasabi! Hot but used with meats or prosciutto.
Glorious meal with friendly, attentive but not overbearing service. Very reasonably priced for quality of food. Difficult to find and off the beaten track, but well worth finding. Will definitely return if back in Cremona.
In Cremona for two days and had the good fortune to eat lunch at this restaurant both days: a great experience both times. Service: great...friendly and accommodating. Food: regional, but exceptionally prepared...a credit to slow food....fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. artifacts....a violin theme, but tasteful...Price/value....great Tip: Buy their mostarda to take home. Try the zucchini.More
I use to have lunch here from time to time and I believe this is one of the best places in Cremona: nice setting - very particular and historical, nice people and very good menu at reasonable prices (not cheap, but reasonable). A must do...if in CremonaMore
This is one of the best restaurants in Cremona. The food is fantastic, well done and wonderfully fresh and from the best ingredients. The service was professional and attentive. All four of us loved every dish we ordered. We had pasta Nero with clams, a...pot of seafood and other dishes. The Tiramisu was fantastic and we loved it. A wonderful restaurant with fantastic food.
