SIrmione has soo many places to eat, it is difficult to choose! however I am glad we visited Antica Trattoria La Speranzina as the food was beautiful (I highly recommend the Sea Bass) and the service was excellent. The venue is beautifully decorated, all round a lovely dining experience. I would highly recommend :)

Selected this restaurant to celebrate a birthday meal. We accepted it was more expensive than other local venues but the quality and presentation was worth the expense. Being given a 4 inch thick heavy book which was the wine list was a little intimidating but the staff were helpful to recommend something locally produced. In terms of extras which included... More

My parents and I ate at this restaurant for Sunday lunch. The service begun friendly however once we did not order wine with our lunch, the service soon changed and we were forgotten about. Two tables that came in after we did, recieved their meals whilst we were still waiting. Almost 40 minutes after arriving dishes finally were served, mine... More

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. The locations is beautiful. The greeting and service was friendly and professional. The food was very good but I particularly like the the "little tastings" the chefs sends to the table in the beginning and the end of the meal. They were tasty and numerous. I almost wish... More

We had to go there twice. the first time we did not get a table as they were sold out. 2 days later, windy weather in teh evening led to nobody eating out before the wind subsided. So we went and got a table inside. With a few people we had great attention and the food was good. But the... More

The gastro beauty of Italy is that almost whenever you go you eat well, but it is not the case! Quite poor and casual menu pretending to be "high cuisine" and even starters from the chef pretending to be "molecular gastronomy" don't save the situation. Certainly everyone is looking for a quality but people that don't allow you to take... More

Family had previously visited and raved about the food and setting. We were excited to experience this. Upon arrival we were seated and treated well by the wait staff. Wine and nibbles pre meal came and were delicious. Silver service and fuss was made over us. Just as the starter of the seven course tasting menu was to be served... More

Delicious food and wine, and fairly priced for the standard of food. The staff were also excellent and happy to make recommendations. I would happily eat here again.

Description
La Speranzina is the ideal corner in which to continue the magic experience at table. Our restaurant is only a few paces from Sirmione Castle, inside the ancient walls. As soon as you enter you will be fascinated by our splendid terrace directly overlooking the lake, the ideal place from which to let your gaze wander from one breath-taking view to another.Furnished in Provence style, the restaurant creates a corner of the French Riviera to exalt the natural setting offered by the surrounding landscapes. We have chosen every detail with care, from the soft ivory and mother-of-pearl colours of the accessories to the white of the table linen with light effects that rebound and pursue each other, creating an all-enveloping relaxing atmosphere. At La Speranzina our wish is to accompany you elegantly and discreetly along a culinary path to be enjoyed under our watchful but never intrusive guidance. You will feel pampered and at your ease: courtesy and care for our customers’ needs are our priority, never in excess.
