My brother told me that this is one of the best ice cream he ever had and I couldnt believe it but he's right, its so good. They have some classic sorts and some extraordinary sorts and it is really good. Try strawberry, salted chocolate and fig with cheese. The price is also good for ice cream.

Ice cream is of very good quality but the small cup is too small, which makes it pricier from some other places with also very good ice-cream.

I would not recommend this gelateria over any of the other great finds in Milan. The gelato is way to soft and creamy. It does have innovative flavors.

This was the first gelato i tried in Milan and I keep coming back for more. There's a solid selection of flavors (cafe and cremino Riva reno are my favorite) and a pleasant setting to enjoy it. Highly recommended for genuinely good and gimmick free gelato.

I am not much of a sweets person and when I do crave gelato, I usually go for the nut flavors (hazelnut, pistachio, almond). Walking by on a hot day, I had been wanting to stop here as I saw that there were two dairy free flavors NOT sorbet and to my delightful surprise, they were two of my favorite... More

I was around cairoli to go to my physiotherapist and it was very hot and I looked on Google which was the best gelateria around there. The ice cream is good but nothing exceptional. The mango was not too sweet. That's a good point. I'm still not sure if they put mascarpone inside of it. The waiter was not too... More

This gelato shop was near out B&B and we enjoyed it so much that we went on both of our evenings in Milan. We had been disappointed by gelato at a restaurant so tried this place and were glad we did. The first time, we shared the strawberry and raspberry and the next time we each had our own. The... More

We've had THE BEST hot chocolate drink from Rivareno. It was so rich/tasty and oh so delicious. We also had their crepes and gelato--best gelato we've had in Milan. I think it's actually better than Latteneve.

This homemade gelato and sorbet was outstanding!!! The proprietor gave all sorts of special Flavors to my sons to taste -- including some sort of "super" homemade Nutella-like, but better substance. She was warm and friendly, giving the start of our four week trip to Italy an excellent start. We'd like her to come to the Boston area!

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
