Sabrina and Emilio (especially Sabrina, she was lovely!) were the most welcoming hostesses and they recommended our meals which were absolutely delicious freshly cooked and excellent value. We visited 2 nights and were made to feel on the second night like family. Such a wonderful authentic Italian welcome. 😊

Some kind of always-busy place in the Brera quarter. We took risotto alla milanese, cotoletta di vitello alla milanese, pizza capricciosa, spaghetti al pomodorro, vino rosso. Not bad. Don't forget: service tips are included in your cheque (11%!).

Unfortunately the food was average, the wrong dishes brought to the table with no apology or offer to replace, the bill hugely inflated and a handbag stolen from under the table, then rushed out the door to avoid the "fuss" being made about the stolen handbag. Avoid at all cost, plenty of other restaurants locally.

Stopped by for lunch after my friend recommended this place highly for its truffle pasta/ravioli. And ravioli I got! It was decent, the taste was nice enough, nothing spetacular but it was not bad either. Then second plate is the lobster, not great, very average at best, and expensive so I do not recommend this dish. Good place for a... More

Traditional and lovely, that's the first words came into your mind when you enter here. Looks more like you are in the living room in the house of big Italian family from Napoli. For person like me, that doesn't like pizza, I must say that it was delicious . We ate traditional pizza Margarita and Pepperoni, was like it must... More

Best service we ever witnessed. So funny and respectful. Emilio is an amazing person and a great professional. The food was beyond amazing. The pizza was divine, the pasta was so good and the lasagna was amazing. Will definitely come back! Thank you! Best wishes, Luciano F. Pinto

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
