Seriously, if your in Milan you need to find this place. One of the very best meals that we've had in Italy. The tortellini with ragu is off the chain. My son had the tomato cream which he loved and my wife had the pasta...More

Fantastic restaurant. We were staying in the neighborhood and Ristorante da Giordano il Bolognese was convenient. It was extra nice that the service was friendly and attentive (and in English!). The meal and our desserts were excellent and they had a nice wine list (that...More

The type of place that doesn't want to be on TripAdvisor. The founder Giordano is featured on a large picture on the wall over the bar with the singer Milva; a picture dating back to the 50ies. A typical Italian restaurant. Divine food and excellent...More

Best dinner we had in Milan. This is a typical Italian restaurant. Decor and service are great. The people are so friendly here. We had a lovely evening and would highly recomend it.

I like this place, food is great, location is not too bad. I just wish this place had more flare other than a trip advisor rated signage. The flavors are very authentic and it's very much hand made but that's to be expected. I really...More

The staff don't speak good english. I order one type of pasta and they bring me another one. I didn't like it and make a change with my husband.

I'm sorry if there has been a mistake but we could have changed your plate. We have always a person that speaks English...this is strange...

Great, traditional italian kitchen with an authentic atmosphere, nice service, home made pasta and desserts, definitely a visit worth, hidden in a small street from Corso Genova. We've got the place recommended from our landlord, because also Italians love the place...we'll come back sure, when...More

The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient
days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar
to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the
Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are
two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande.
The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk
with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes
in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns

Is not related to the water but to the bread, the service, the tablecloth and napkin. In other countries you pay a % for the waiter, here for the things I told you. Thanks, bye

A great food experience in MilanThe restaurant da Giordano il Bolognese is the perfect place where to taste the local specialities of the savoury Bolognese cooking surrounded by a warm and pleasant atmosphere. It is an elegant and known place where you can find not only traditional cooking but also a new and modern idea of Italian dishes. We are famous for our hand made pasta: tortellini, tortelloni, lasagne, tagliatelle, passatelli but you can also eat the mix fried (meat, vegetables, apple and cream), gnocco fritto, the typical rice cake and other Italian dishes, difficult to find everywhere: boiled mix meat, tripe, ossobuco with risotto and meat and fish grilled, too.
