Amazing location, but the quality of the food and the variety of choices was limited. The avocado and quinoa plate at 32 euros I had was absolutely disappointing. The avocado was brown and the taste was not adequate. Definitely a lot to do to improve the level required when your target is so high.

Dear Sir, I am very sorry you were not impressed with the food but there must have been a misunderstanding: the Avocado and Quinoa dish cost 16 Euros, so if you were charged 32 Euros I believe you may have had two, please let me know if this was not the case and I would be happy to refund the... I had the chance to have dinner at Il Ristorante. The food is absolutely stunning. The chef knows perfectly how to combine the ingredients together to make the dishes so special. It is the best food I had so far in Milan. A must go!

This is my 4th or 5th visit to the city and the restaurant is really by far the best restaurant I've tried in Milan. The chef is from Napoli and the food was just amazing: complex in taste and interesting combinations of ingredients. Just go! But good food + excellent & professional service come with a price.

Delicious aperitivo in a wonderful hotel. Best value in Milan. A must when visiting the city. The small bites were as filling as a small meal. Excellent service and beautiful architecture.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your feedback. Glad to see you enjoyed our aperitivo, the small bites are a big hit! The five different bites are created every evening and changed daily, keeping guests guessing on what's going to be next. Very much looking forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Attilio More

I came here several times for dinners and aperitivo which is to me one of the best in town. Make a reservation because the place is good and likely to be full. In summer you can enjoy fantastic garden.

We stopped here for drinks one evening as I had heard it was good and I have to say the bartending staff were excellent. The initial waitress was a bit surly and disinterested, however the following one was excellent and attentive. We had two Vesper martinis and some wine and the martinis were amongst the best I have ever had.... More

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
