We arrived quite early, approx 10am and were warmly welcomed by staff. The service was really great, they asked us for everything we needed. The meals and drinks have been served fast and nicely. On another hand everything was delicious enough. In the result I could recommend it to everyone. Very friendly staff and delicious meals.

The service was Ok, waitress was pleasant enough but she refused to give us tap water. The drinks were very overpriced and we refused to pay the extortionate prices. I asked for Penne with 4 cheese sauce but they were out of penne!! Really, in Italy and you run out of penne in a restaurant? Instead I opted for the... More

Hideous service. When we asked wi-fi password, the waitress gave us a net ID that didn't exist and a wrong password that couldn't work either at another net ID. When we said that was impossible to use the wi-fi network, the waitress just shrugged her shoulders and went away. Worse than that was the food: 3 minutes after we asked... More

My boyfriend and I decided to take a break from site seeing and get a hot chocolate and a coffee. We called into Cafe Noir, ordered our drinks. We were told that we couldn't sit down because we were just ordering drinks. Two staff members told us this and told us to stand at the counter and drink them their.... More

Just stopped for a beer and were given a lovely plate of nibbles for free. Very welcome ... nice to get good friendly service in the city.

We were here tonight to eat some wick pasta before leaving Milan. Our son was being a bit difficult and didn't want to eat anything but we had spaghetti pomodoro and spaghetti carbonara and it was delicious. The young lady who served us was very nice and the food was ready within 10 minutes. When we finished we asked for... More

The best mojito I've had in a long time, and at happy hour the nibbles are fantastic. Yes, it's not cheap but I felt it was very good value. Loved it.

Very expensive and not very nice. Food is ok, and waiters are easy to get attention. However the price is high, even compared with other cafes close to this

Thet do not bring what you order. Food is expensive and average flavour. I recommend ordering pizza. It is the best of the menu and it is not delicious...

Having travelled from Bergamo for a day trip to Milan, Café Noir epitomises the annoying side of Milan. Overpriced food of average quality, served by staff who's only interest is to serve you quickly and turnover the table to the next customer.

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
