Very nice restaurant with great food for very reasonable prices. The garden terrace is lovely and quiet. Food is very fresh and the service is very friendly. Recommended.

This place is simply great and we have come on two occasions while visiting Milan. The buffet-style service is wonderful and a refreshing change from stuffy Milanese restaurants. The main event are the vegetables, prepared in innumerable and delicious ways. There is a simple choice...More

We've already been here a couple of times on weekdays: we found the menu with buffet salad, freshly cooked main and dessert at 14 euros to be quite good and reasonably priced. Yesterday we didn't see the note outside and being quite late (14.15) we...More

The setting is very pleasant and understated. However the tables are very close together so definitely not the place to go for an intimate tete-à-tete. It is not immediately obvious what the procedure is (self service or waiter service), and it took quite a while...More

Nice setting, sober decor and friendly staff. However, quality of food is just about average compared to what Milan has to offer. Good for large groups of friends, certainly wouldn't recommend it for a date

This place is a bargain no matter how you look at it. For Forty euros you get a buffet of cooked vegetables (huge selection), a first course, a second course, desert and coffee. House wine is 6 euros per person, and that includes all that...More

Refettorio is one of two restaurants, listed in a well-known Italian food guide, which are close to the Brera art gallery. Our first choice was empty, so not wanting to eat alone, we didn’t go in and headed for Al Refettorio - I’m so glad...More

First advice: check review dates when deciding where to eat. I will admit that as an amateur home cook who prepares this kind of fare, I was looking forward to a 'chef' interpretation of simple, fresh vegetable-emphasized fare. Previous reviews were overall positive. Now I...More

This is one of the best restaurants I've been in. The place is beautifully decorated, the staff is wonderful and the food is excellent. They have a wide variety of choices for everyones taste, but it is especially convenient for vegetarians vegans and people on...More

Stumbled across this place, hungry and tired from the heat. My friend and I didn't understand the menu and the waiter didn't speak English but we managed to get some delicious pasta and cake for €14! Great atmosphere and setting. Relaxed and inviting.

Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an
excellent mix between history and modernity, where
tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty
reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca
(galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and
Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior
design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of
the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to

A new way of eating out. Feeling like at home. The best quality at low prices. Traditional italian and contemporary at the same time. Every day different: not a restaurant. Not a pizzeria. Not a bistrot: it is a simple refettorio.
