Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent and authentic japanese food. Been coming here for years, whenever I am in Milano. Highly recommend! Friendly owners and staff, excellent quality, and not too fancy. Honest is the best description.

I went to Nozomi on a Tuesday night with my family. We were excited to eat some authentic Japanese food, but it wasn’t how we expected it. When we arrived to the restaurant we weren’t greeted properly. The staff were not smiling and they focused...more on preparing the tables rather than serving the guests. We had to ask for the menu. The food was okay, but nothing really special. The Tantanmen we ordered tasted too much of sesame paste. The ambience looked very simple and honestly a bit cold. There was no shadow of the owners.More

The restaurant is small and looked like the restaurants we often visited in Japan. So we were looking forward to the food. And in fact, it was as authentic as in Japan. We had Tempura, Ramen and other dishes that were just perfect. Se we...can only recommend this little restaurant. The staff was friendly and the prices were totally ok.More

Nozomi is one of those places where it's really hard not to get a good meal. The ramen is probably the best in Milan, the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is polite and happy. We've had many different foods, including chicken, pork, gyoza, ramen, etc,...all of them without an exception are super delicious.More

This place is a no-sushi Japanese restaurant. The inside is simple but welcoming with green tinted walls. We all had ramen, that was really tasty and satisfying and, in my opinion well priced (13€). Beverages where instead pricey with beers a 7€ a bottle. We...ended up paying 54€ in two for two ramen, a beer, some fried vegetables (8€) a hot green tea and two coffees. I think I'll come back again to try the very interesting menu far from the boring sushi!More

My favorite place that introduced me to the fact that Japanese cuisine has more to offer than sushi. Owned by a Japanese chef, the place offers great food, the best ramen ever, and also an origami upon the checkout. Lovely, delicate, cute, and very humane....No yelling italian waiters :-)More

Tasty authentic casual ramen spot in Milan. Visited with colleagues for dinner during business trip when we wanted to take a break from Italian food. (We are visiting from Tokyo) Seems like they have nice teishoku lunch sets as well. Highly recommended.

Nozomi is a very particular restaurant, different from the usual oriental restaurants... I recommend everyone to try it... Best plate ate? The chicken meatballs... But don't let you be misled by the name, nothing similar to usual meatballs. You only have to try it!

We had family lunch on saturday with my wife and 2 young children. Restaurant is not so large but it was not an issue for us. My 7 years old daughter took Udon Tempura menu at 12€. She liked the udon very much but quantity...was not enough even for her and we ordered extra portion ... I took Miso Ramen. When it arrived i was afraid that soup will be heavy and salty ... but actually not and i liked it. As general, I would say that food is good and not too salty like many Japanese restaurant run by chinese. Actually staff of Nomizo are Japanese. I would have appreciated a little bigger volume of the plate but this is compensated by good service and attitude of waiters. Then good for a relax lunch on Saturday.More
