Front line experience means you must expect above average prices so two small glasses of wine ,sitting right opposite the cathedral, will cost 20 euros at this tourist trap establishment but who cares when in Milan centro!!!However, surprisingly the pizza was only 12 euro and thoroughly enjoyable followed by a Selva Nera costing 9 euro so all in all the experience was... A great location with lots going on and for watching the world go by. A nice spot for a decent coffee of which there is a good selection on offer.

Great restaurant bar. Bar Duomo is located just in front of Duomo Cathedral. Enjoy the view of Duomo with extensive range of Italian food (Pizza, Pasta and many more) Dessert, drinks and coffee. However expect a higher price than any other restaurant. It's located in heart of Milan.

Both our kids were jet lagged and hungry. As we started walking away from the Duomo we looked for the 1st place that served spaghetti. We ordered two spaghetti and a beer. The quantity was pretty small. In fact my 10 year old finished it and had room to have another snack on the way back. The food itself wasn't... More

Good service. The food was tasty, but the dishes are too small and the prices are too high. A fantastic location against the amazing Duomo.

We had been out for a nice meal one week day evening during a 4 night stay in Milan and fancied one more drink before heading black to our hotel. Walking towards Bar Duomo, it looked like a nice venue, facing the Milan Cathedral out side, with heaters, do we decided to sit down. The waiter immediately tried to up... More

The food was very good and quick service. A glass of wine, starter pasta and a coffee...€32...a bit of a high budget restaurant but you most certainly pay for the location...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
