We were searching for a Japanese restaurant in Milan close to our Airbnb and this was just 2 minutes away. We have been to Japan and always like to eat japanese food. We reserved a table beforehand just to be sure. The prices are usual for a Sushi restaurant in my opinion. We spend 70 euro for 2 people. Which... More

Good sushi and japanese food. I come here every week for business lunch and me and my colleagues are very satisfied of the food and the prices. Very polite staff. Make sure to book if you are in large numbers, it is always full :)

The restaurant has japanese usual dishes (sushi/maki/sashimi) with more sophisticated rolls. It was rather good and worth trying. It also seems to have a special chinese menu with lots of traditional chinese dishes that we got because we were chinese.

I'd been in Milan for a couple of days, i tasted the sushi there because of my friends' advice. Luckily it was as good as my friends suggested. the place was brilliant with lots of lights, very warm and romantic. Sushi was good enough, fresh and tasteful. i really would love to return and try other dishes when i come... More

The interior of the restaurant is interesting with great lighting and a buzzing atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was well above expectation! We had a lot of excellent Italian food whilst in Milan but our best meal was at Taiyo. When the food arrived it was beautifully presented. I had a hot and sour soup and... More

We found this place by accident, as we were wandering around, looking for a restaurant where the main dish isn't Pizza. And wow, were we lucky. This is probably the best sushi me and my girlfriend ever had. Super fresh, amazing taste, amazing service (even more so, because we walked in 30 mins before they closed). Unlike most other restaurants,... More

Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
