Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went here for two nights because we found a place with very high quality food that we wanted to try many dishes at. Overall, very local vibe with nice staff that had great service. The beef tar tar was a bit mushy and was too fine and the pastas were very delicious! We also tried the octopus and it was very good, very well cooked and with lots of falvour.

Best pasta in Milano for sure !!! 10€ the plate of pasta, and they are really delicious. Small restaurant, very nice waiters, delicious mains and really good wine. everything was perfect. Mandatory stop if you want to eat real Italian pasta in Milano.

We had an amazing lunch here! Pasta carbonara (the real Italian one with cheese and eggs, and not with cream) and amatriciana were absoultely amazing! Also the straciatella as starter was perfect! Also very friendly service and good prices with great portions!

We were in Milan for an evening and wanted to try a decent pasta restaurant and had heard good things about this restaurant. We arrived on a night of torrential rain and were turfed back out into the street, because they clearly don’t understand the vaccine certificate rules. We have an EU Vaccine certificate with a QR code, which had been accepted at restaurants in both Milan and Lake Como, but our certificate wasn’t ‘Italian’ enough for the waiter and he gave us some nonsense about there one certificate for travelling and another to get into restaurants and told us we had to go to a pharmacy to get an Italian version, which is categorically untrue. We went to a restaurant called Mint over the road instead, where they scanned and accepted our perfectly valid vaccination certificate and we had a great time. I highly recommend it. Great ambience, food and friendly staff!! We told the hotel staff about our experience and they were shocked. They couldn’t think of any reason why this man turned us away and will be warning future guests against going to the restaurant. Avoid this restaurant while the measures are still in place!

We had table reservations for Friday at 8pm. When we arrived we were told that the ravioli was sold out. We only came to try the ravioli so that was quite disappointing. You have like 5 different things on the menu. How can you be sold out of something at 8pm on a Friday night when you open at 7.15pm and there are only a few tables occupied? We had something else in stead. The pasta with minced meat was nice and the reason for the second star whereas the carbonara was very unsatisfactory.

After spending a month traveling through Italy, from Sicily to Milan, I made a reservation at Platina for dinner. However, this apparently is the only place in Italy that doesn’t accept the US vaccination card. I have been able to get in the country, board trains and airplanes, take taxis, join tours, and enter every single restaurant and business I wanted during my month in Italy after showing my CDC card except this one. So if do not have a Green Pass, do not attempt to eat here.

Poor. We have ordered two dishes. One was just super salty, another one tastes like those frozen one from supermarket for 2 euro. There were only foreigners in the restaurant, who was obviously guided by TripAdvisor. Locals did eat in the different restaurants on the same street

I’m not sure why anyone would rate this less than 5? It was delicious and very reasonably priced. The house wine was very good. You should make a reservation though. They are usually full from what I could tell. I would go back again.

The restaurant isn’t very large, so I can see that if you get there a little late, it might be packed. But, the reason I dinged this place was for multiple reasons. The waitress that took our order was had only worked there a few days, and she didn’t know the menu at all. My brother had asked if they had ravioli and she said no, but then I saw it on the menu and asked her, and she said “I guess we do” basically. The vibe of the place was ok, but it just kinda seemed fake Italian, not real authentic. It was kinda disappointing, after reading a little deeper on some of the reviews on here, you realize why they aren’t all 5 stars after eating here. The servers were nice enough, the food was ok, the pasta noodles were fresh and homemade, but just something seemed a little off with everything, and it made us both wish we had eaten somewhere else with our 1 night in Milan. I had the spaghetti carbonara (had to ask them to bring me parmesan), and my brother had a spaghetti shrimp pesto. Just a month earlier I was in Riga, Latvia and got a carbonara pasta that was so good, so I figured this had to be at least as good as that, but it wasn’t at all. Trust me, this place isn’t bad, but we walked about 25 mins to get there, and it had us wondering how many better places we had passed to come there...

Disappointing visit to be honest having seen other reviews. Very little atmosphere, staff not particularly engaging. Food very average.

The food (spaghetti carbonara in my case) was good, but the portion size could be a bit bigger. As for the region the prize was okay. The food itself was well made and tastes delicious. Worth a visit

The place is small. Decor it's ok. For first place had the peppered mussels. Huge quantity, great taste! For main the seafood pasta. Again big portion, in a great red tomato sauce, I believe it is their best pasta dish. Simply great! All these with a glass of red wine. Prices good, service very good. Reccomendated

Modern restaurant, with a real focus on pasta! The taste of strong natural flavors was very nice. We recommend to make a reservation as the restaurant was rather full during our visit.
