This restaurant is first class. The menu is not too big but the quality is amazing. 4 of us had dinner I had the Entrecôte with truffles ... It was superb. The wines were very good. The prices are high end but so worth it. We returned the next day for lunch. The staff are very welcoming

This restaurant got its name from the famous opera "Nabucco" by Verdi. It offers both excellent Northern Italian cuisine and other Italian meals at reasonable price. The interior has a great and elegant atmosphere of Scala theatre and well placed tables. The highly trained staff were very courtenous and the manager was very helpful with our choice of Northern Italian... More

This little restaurant in the Brera area has Fantastic food , excellent service and total value for money .... not over priced like some of the restaurants in the city Centre. Everything I ordered was super delicious. Definitely going back.

Their strap line and who am I to argue. Felt very much at home following the excellent maitre d's welcome as we turned up with no reservation. Taken to inside table in the back room, much more space than I imagined. Procecco brought very swiftly as we considered the menu. Shared a sea food risotto, great flavours and more than... More

We asked our hotel where we could find the nicest restaurant in walking distance, nice ambience, good dinner, romantic and cozy. They did not think long before they said “this must be the Nabucco”. And so it was. Very good style, all high quality and beautiful, exquisite service. The food was superb as well as the atmosphere. No doubt that... More

Service and the waitstaff was good. I liked my grilled swordfish and grilled vegetables, however my boyfriend didn't like or enjoy his risotto with perch encrusted with Parmesan...there was three tiny slivers of Perch and an enormous portion of risotto which covered the entire plate. The dessert Tiramisu tasted like rice pudding. The wine was cheap and delicious and we... More

About 4 stops from the Central train station. Do not drive as parking is hell. Very nice food. I recommend having the traditional local dishes which are marked. English was spoken so no problem. Enjoy!

Even at winter days we were Dining outside. Excellent dishes at the LA BRERA area behind the famous SCALA. Much more quiet than at the Galleria near the DOME.

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
