Nice place in Brera where you can have a good meal. The mozzarella is good, real buffalo, rest is also great.

Two o'clock Saturday and this place is full with people waiting. Delicious salad and then pumpkin and chestnut gnocchi. All scrumptious.

The place itself is in line with the new trends and the design concept is similar to many other places around Brera and Milan itself. The menu isn't broad and is very clear to read and to understand. The staff could be a bit more interested in the customer experience and spend less time running around but they were knowledgable... More

Went today (03.01.17) for lunch and ordered tagliatelle con tartufo bianco. As this is a expensive dish, one would expect an amazing taste and great expectation... I was wrong: pasta overcooked (tasted like microwave chinese noodles) and lack of flavor. Chef put too much butter (or oil). I was not able to informed the waiter as he never appeared and... More

The restaurant was very quiet when we entered, there were 2 tables of four at most, already eating. We ordered our food and drinks at the same time - I had some sort of cocktail with tequila in - as I don't speak Italian I didn't know what was in any of them so I just stayed away from the... More

Had a nice dinner with my friends. The place is really nice, the service is good and the food as well. They are specialized in mozzarella (typical Italian cheese), but they also have pizzas, pasta, meat and so on. I had a vegetarian pizza and it was really tasty (a bit different from the ones I was used to). Prices... More

This place IS a mozzarella bar. When you order, you must try mozzarella with some other side dish. The plain mozzarella with prosciutto, or the smoked m. with eggplant ragout was fantastic. We had pizza and pasta too (all with m.) and everything was excellent and not too pricey.

Very pleasant mozzarella bar, with good atmosphere. You have good of choice of antipasti, where mozzarella is king. But not only, we had prosciutto and the quality of ingredients is excellent. If you're not too hungry, it's probably enough to have only a combination of antipasti and primi. If you go for secondi, then expect min 50€ per person.

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
