Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is a great old ambiance about this restaurant tucked away in central Cuneo. Our porcini risotto was faultless and my fine glass of barbera was good value and well chosen. Our friends were equally satisfied so I will doubtless be back in years to...come.More

We had dinner here last night and the food was great. The risotto was cooked to perfection as were the tagliatelli. We had lamb chops as our main course & they too were cooked exactly as we requested and were tasty, delicious & tender. NZ...lamb I found out, but none the less delicious. The menu has 3-4 selections in each category which is enough. Piemontese cuisine.More

Good service, fantastic menu, and pleasant setting. This is my third visit to this Cunese restaurant - located in the city center - and I have always forurd it good value for the money.

Even if not top rated, we decided to visit this restaurant. The food is excellent and has an individual taste. Vitello tonato, salad with anchovies pesto, filet are a good choice. The wine list offers a lot of piemontese wine and wine from other italian...regions.More

The appetizers were good, not great. The pasta dishes were delicious as were the main dishes. They have a very good wine list. The desserts were terrible, just loaded with sugar and not much other flavor.

What an amazing dinner! Everything we ordered was perfect. Every single dish a triumph of quality local products cooked in the traditional way with some innovative touches of high cuisine. Very nice work on the kitchen! The list of wines definitely good, and the lady...who waited on us, very knowledgeable about pairings. The service absolutely friendly and efficient. And the bill was ridiculously low. A truly gem!More

Ambiance sitting in Via Roma is excellent .This evening we were offered a fungi special as a starter which was very good and followed with a very tender piece of pork ( maiale) and vegetables well presented. Accompanied by a sensibly priced Barolo red wine....All in all good value for money with friendly help.More

In the old town of Cuneo, Main Street Via Roma you will find this cosy restaurant. Long history started with a Zuavo that was hiding in the cellar in the 18th century. On the ancient walls pictures of actors coming here from the nearby Toselli...Theater. Good traditional Piedmontese cuisine, excellent bolliti, vitello tonnato, a very good selection of wines. Service extremely good. The place has been taken over recently by the owner of La Chiocciola, one of the best restaurants in Cuneo, this gives an extra guarantee.More

This the most classic restaurant of Cuneo, located in its historic centre. Now the management has changed but the quality is always good. Despite its reputation of exclusiveness, prices are affordable. For example, one starter and one main course may cost 21 €. The menu...is divided into 4 sections: “antipasti” or starters (I enjoyed especially “anciue al vert” that is anchovies with parsley sauce € 8, while my friends tasted “cipolle ripiene” that is stuffed onions), “primi” or “pasta or soup” and “secondi” or main course (I enjoyed “coniglio alla cacciatora” that is hunter-style rabbit € 12, while my friends tasted “guancia di maiale alla birra” that is baked pork in beer sauce € 12, “dolci” or dessert (my friends enjoyed “gianduia”, a little chocolate pudding). The interiors are very nice. It could be very indicated for romantic dinners.More

Very charming restaurant with a lot of history. Mattia and Enzo, the two Chef de Cuisines give a delicious twisting to the traditional Italian kitchen. A really excellent Vitello Tonato.
