We walked miles trying to find something traditional and local. Found this restaurant, it was busy.... usually a good sign! We had the assorted starter....it was a frittata covered in a white sauce, an unset soufflé a slice of sausage, that was odd! And a...More

We have had many excellent meals at this restaurant over the years, but something was clearly off the last time we visited. We asked for water with gas and got still, had to ask for bread, and the first waiter could not manage our wine...More

We had an enjoyable dinner sitting outside in an attractive square. The food was tasty , original and reasonably priced. The service was good and prompt. It was busy so obviously popular with locals.

Traditional food, and a good selection of both meats and seafood, cooked with a slightly modern twist. Professional and friendly service, along with an excellent wine list make this a must visit restaurant. Remember to leave room for the desserts and finish with a complementary...More

We had dinner there, and it was really good. Prices are fair, service was great, and the food was amazing. Definitely worth a visit. I had the tuna meatballs.

We tried both the Vegetariano and traditional Piemontese tasting menus, and enjoyed both immensely. They are filling! Superb potato gnocchi and zucchini flan. Supposedly the recipes are based on abbey and monastery dishes - not sure about that, but eating here was a great experience....More

This wasn't our first visit and won't be our last. We love the no-fuss approach to high-quality ingredients and service. We tend to choose the traditional offerings from the menu including the vitello tonnato, tajarin, involtini di vitello and faraona. The meats are juicy and...More

La Badessa è sicuramente consigliato anche per famiglie. Inoltre, il dehors è posizionato in area pedonale, quindi è un luogo stranquillo e non vi è passaggio di autombili.

The Abbess is an historical place, located in an ancient palace in the center of Turin. And the only restaurant in Europe to offer the real "Kitchen of the Monasteries". Each dish follows the old recipes found in italian convents and monasteries. Inside, sculptures, paintings, collections, create the right atmosphere to enjoy to taste a simple cuisine, authentic, unique in its kind.
