Food was great, we had the normal and veggie menues. The restaurant was however overly booked. Staff were doing their best but it took 25 minutes for the starters to come, another 45 minutes after the starter for the main. Had I not asked the...owner for an update on our main I think the wait would have been longer. We left without eating the dessert as at that point we ran out of patience.More

We discovered this square at around 9.30 pm and we decided to have dinner in this restaurant as it looked lively. We sat outside and the overall atmosphere of this square was just great. We were welcomed by a very friendly young male waiter. The...food was excellent ; the meat melted in the mouth and we were offered a free digestive drink by a nice waitress after our meal. A great evening! I highly recommend this place and it is good value for money.More

We came back after three years and we had an unxepcted surprise: they still offer revisited monastery cuisine and it is even more fine and tasty. You should definetly try their agnolotti (stuffed pasta), sea bream and desserts. Good service and nice staff.

This is recommended by my concierge for lunch after we checked in. While walking there, I managed to book it through TheFork, or so I thought. But when I got there, the restaurant said it did not use TheFork. And then later TheFork beeped me...to say that I had not turned up. So it's a puzzle. The food was good. The price was a little on the high side but the service was impeccable. The waiter who served me was wonderful. He made good recommendations and gave us appropriate attention. It's not customary to tip in Italy but I made an exception here and tipped the waiter. I'm not giving 5 stars because the episode with TheFork is a little troubling.More

The new owners have not kept the high standards the restaurant was well known for.. Service was terrible. We were served with chipped plates. When we made the waiter notice, he told us that it often happens... Pasta was overcooked, and the desserts were taken...directly out of the refrigerator. Overall, very poor quality, and very expensive. Do not recommend at all.More

Dinner in Italy is a great thing! You only should not follow the tourist streams of Englishmen or Germans... We went to this not quite cheap place, invited by some friends here, to enjoy an really outstanding dinner. At an impressive place!

Came in with a friend of mine, without any prior knowledge of the restaurant besides it having regional food. It's location next to a roundabout might be a bit noisy in the early hours, but if you eat at Italian times it's plenty quiet. Staff...was very friendly (David is an absolute legend), and the food was delicious! 5/5, would eat again.More

Visited with my family today. The restaurant is nicely situated. But that about everything good I have to say about this place. The waiter blatantly ignored us over an extensive period and then messed up half our order. The food was ver mediocre except for...the fish wich was quite nice. Overall an overpriced restaurant that I would not recommend.More

La Badessa is situated at the Piazza Carlo Emanuele II and has a nice terrace. That is full quickly, so be early in the absence of a reservation. I really liked it. Staff is very friendly, food is traditional Piemontese. I had superb agnolotti di...brasato con ristretto di manzo al rosmarino as a primo, and a very good veal cheek in Barolo wine with mashed potatoes and saffron as a secundo. Back to superb again with the zabaione. For me, this is how I hope to eat in Italy. I would strongly recommend and a tip would be to praise the achievements of Torino FC. Prices are balanced, hence not too cheap but definitely worth it.More

It was nice sitting outdoors to enjoy the food. The portions are generous and well priced. A good choice of wines both from the region and elsewhere.

La Badessa è sicuramente consigliato anche per famiglie. Inoltre, il dehors è posizionato in area pedonale, quindi è un luogo stranquillo e non vi è passaggio di autombili.
