The view from the terrace at Saxifraga is really worth the (short) climb up the Tappeiner Weg. And although you still get the buzz coming up from Merano, a very busy town, it's all below you and you can sit and enjoy the view without...More
Such a beautiful building and gorgeous view. Sitting on the terrace and just admiring the Etschtal on a sunny day is a must.

A must visit when staying in Merano. Beautiful location , sitting on the terrace on a glorious sunny day overlooking the valley does not get much better. Food is excellent and is perfectly accompanied by wine from the owners own vineyards ( delicious Chardonnay) ....More
