Just about to enter France from the Italian side we decided to have a quick lunch. La Palud is just off the main road (on the right) and is a large place and was almost full but we were quickly given a table and served just as fast. The veal was excellent and with coffee we were out in less... More

As per recent reviews- a 14 inch pizza is too big for an individual pie. We ordered one and a salad and had plenty of food. Service was great and DON'T skip dessert. They are made in house and we had a terrific Piedmontese version of chocolate mousse

I must admit, we were weary of driving through the many tunnels under the mountains in Italy on our way to Geneva, and we were hungry, so this place was one of the first to catch my eye after we came out into the light, but it was also GREAT! The view from the parking lot is stunning. The menus... More

Since my husband, son and I were hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc we decided to get the pizza to carbo load. Given the inexpensive price we assume they were small personal pizzas and thus each of ordered one. They were massive and delicious and we also saw large portions of other dishes at other tables. The staff was friendly... More

Son No1 loves his pizza. Despite our late arrival these guys did not disappoint for a midweek lunch. Others came afterwards so not so late but staff reaction not great. Massive and excellent pizza. A very good pasta dish for those seeking something else. Slightly shoddy service let down the whole meal but overall very good. The ultimate test is... More

I really don't enjoy writing poor reviews - I think that we chose a bad evening perhaps. We arrived for dinner after having booked a table. We were kept waiting standing at the entrance for half an hour before being shown to our table which was jammed into a tiny space. Another table became free so we asked to move.... More

The food is ok but the selection is limited and dominanted by pasta and other what products, which can make Italian food a bit trivial. Its a popular place, which unfortunately makes it very crowded and you may experience to wait for a table. Hence, you dont feel like being hanging there to enjoy your meal, but merely just eat... This place is busy! Full of both Italian tourists, locals, and many other nationalities. Great pizza from a wood fired oven. Extensive traditional Italian menu. Fantastic fresh home made desserts. Service fast and friendly. Overall, just magic!

Good pizza and meat - a bit pricey but the setting is a bit more elegant and modern than some of the other places around. We come here frequently although the staff is sometimes a bit arrogant.

Great food, quick service, friendly team, huge portions. This restaurant was always busy every time we were there, always a good sign I think. Would recommend the pizzas and the pesto pasta was delicious.
