This is one of the best places I've ever eaten. Great cealiac food. Extremely good service. High level of knowledge on the staff. Alle this combined with moderate pricelevel makes this a sure win!

We happened to go to Da Giovanni because it was the only one openned close to the hotel. Really wonderful coincidence. The system was very unusual, but still enticing. You have to choose among five types of pasta ( I had gnocchi in all five visits I made to them ) and they brought the fours sauce types anyway to... More

The best pasta in Padova period. The steak was amazing, the desert spectacular. I love the way the carts are worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful from start to finish. A must for everyone. Defiantly going back

The restaurant may seem a bit old fashioned..but don't be scared of this..the food is great!! You can try the traditional Bollito of Padova or the roast meat..both are spectacular! The staff is great and very friendly..a must!!

Strange location in an area with a lot of immigrants. We did not have high expectations but were pleasantly surprised. A large well decorated establishment retaining a homely ambiance. Excellent service from stepping through the door until stepping out. I had Gnocchi starter which on their own were average for Italy but the ragu sauce made it extra special. Unusually... More

...even if you are not in the mood for the traditional "bollito" (mixed boiled meat), or you are too squeamish to approach the pig "testina" (this is my case!) well: this is a place to go. Say shut-up to your cholesterol level and enjoy an important piece of tradition in this astonishing restaurant that will bring you 40 years back.... More

Came here for a late dinner during a business trip. I was undecided about two types of fresh pasta to order and the server more than glady offered to make a plate combining both. Also had prosciutto and cheese as an appetizer. Very good cabernet house wine for just €2. Overall a very good and surprising experience. Will definitely come... More

I've been dreaming of the lemon cake ever since I left Padua. My husband and I tried the restaurant at the recommendation of our hotel. We both got the pasta and dessert, skipping the main meat course so that we would have room for dessert. I'm so glad the hotel recommended this place, the home-made pasta and desserts were phenomenal.... More

This restaurant offers some of the traditional dishes of the region, both meat and fish, made in a squeaky-clean and open kitchen. I had pasta e fagioli + faraona arrosto + local vegetables + strawberries in red wine. What a meal!

The service is great and the food very very good. I had the "pasta e fagioli" and the "bollito misto", some good wine and an amaro. I could be fine with just the "bollito", but everything looked so feel that I was too curious. I spent 50 euros, just a little bit too much but you have to try it... More
