I was the first evening customer on a recent rainy evening, and while the kitchen was still in prep mode, the gracious server invited me to have a drink while I waited. I soon ordered the citrus smoked salmon starter which was outstanding! The porcini fettuccine and salad which followed were equally delightful, and I was very pleased with the... More

This is a place to taste the home cooking of Treviso in a pleasant and informal atmosphere. The selection is not large and there is nothing very elaborate, but everything we had was enjoyable and good. We started with the sarde in saor, followed by the bigoli in ragu d’anatra, which were exceptional. Our secondi looked very similar: a mound... More

Osteria dei Carraresi is a small unassuming osteria in the center of Treviso that we walked by for years without ever trying it. We now know that was a mistake. For our primi we chose the Gamberi in Saor and the Orochetti con Zucca e Radicchio Rosso, and for our secondi we had the Bigoli al Ragu d’Anatra and the... More

We were roaming around on a Sunday and randomly came upon this place. Fantastic food and great tiramisu. Will definitely be back!

I am in Treviso for two weeks with a friend staying in a local apartment. This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the apartment and is excellent. I have been to Italy a lot over the last 40 years. I love Italian food and this is the real deal. Any signature dish such as vitello tonnato, spaghetti volgole, tagliatelle... More

Had a nice dinner there with my wife and my 9yo daughter with proper food. But for 80€ sitting at cheap plastic table and average proper food I found it a bit in the costly side. Pasta was great. As well as the the Venetian tripe! Nice service.

This is a quaint, little romantic Osteria, the kind you just assume have completely disappeared. The service is attentive and friendly, even in English (or broken Italian). The aforementioned Asparagus and Shrimp "lasagnette" as a starter was one of the creamiest things I've ever eaten. The Vittelo al tonno was just as good. An excellent experience.

Sundayevening: the restaurant we had decided to go to is closed. Luckily, I guess, because otherwise we wouldn't have had dinner in this wonderful small restaurant close to the city centre. We enjoyed a delicious gnocchi-dish that we devided in two in order to have enough space for a main course. Then we ate a superb vitello tonnato and for... More

We were recommended this place from a bar we had afternoon drinks at, and it was sooooo good! The service was friendly and helpful. The portions were generous, and the food was quite good. We had a very nice evening, and enjoyed the house prosecco with our meal. Feel lucky to have landed there for our evening in Treviso!
