My partner and I dropped into Cantina Do Mori for some lunchtime cicchetti. Having high expectations after visiting Cantina Do Spade (just around the corner) the evening before, we were not disappointed. The bar was small and busy with what looked like a food tour...More

We visited this location as part of a food tour of Venice. Over the course of a week we were on a quest to find the best cicchetti and this restaurant was in our top two picks. I'd say it was a tie although this...More

Random wine spot where you can have wine and snacks in the wonderful and old building. Nice staff and good wine! Worth a visit 😊

Nice to visit this after taking a spritz and ciccette at All Arco, it's just round the corner. Very friendly.

This was the first stop on our 'little bites' restaurant hopping in Venice. Great place to start. Very historic, and the food was good. No place to sit, so we ate outside - but the weather was pleasant so it turned out just fine.

This is my favorite place in Venice to have a snack. I make a point of stopping by here at least once while I am in Venice. Cant wait to go back here in September.

Start your day in Venice with a walk over the Rialto bridge, through the vegetable and fish markets planning to end up at the oldest and best stops for Cicchetti in Venice. Been there since the 1400's it's great after their 830 opening for breakfast...More

Supposedly the older continuously open hostelry in Venice (think it dates back to about 1430 or so). Very small but full of atmosphere. We were the only tourists in the place - obviously a haunt for locals. The wine is kept in barrels and there...More

We visited this cantina as part of a walking gastronomy tour, and it was very authentic, with a wide range of cicchetti to choose from. Apparently a cantina originally produced its own wine so they are usually quite personal and definitely not part of a...More

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six
sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest
neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)

I just ate there last week and unlike Adarsh I did not see vegetarian platters. There was octopus, meatballs, sandwiches of fish salads like sardines, a croquette (not sure about the filling). There was cheese...maybe... More
