Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing food, definitely don't miss this! A cosy space, can get busy though. Worth trying a variety of different cicchetti dishes with a glass of wine.

Just amazing. You should NEVER come to Venice without having cicchetti and wine for breakfast here. My husband and I have done so twice this week. The price is fantastic and the cicchetti is made with real love. They look and taste amazing. Best cicchetti...on the island without a shadow of a doubt.More

You simply won’t find a better selection of Cicchetti, served by the most charming staff, and an adorable little table top restaurant. It was packed but quick, and so delicious.

The chichetti and wine was first class!! We seemed to get there at a perfect time as we barely had to queue but by the time we left the queue was quite long, if you go and there is a queue- it is definitely worth...waiting!! The wine and food were delicious and staff so friendly. We went as had seen Stanley Tucci on TV there and oh my goodness I would eat there everyday if I was a local!!More

Great place for an authentic Italian (Venician) cichetti, a good wine selection, and a very friendly staff. The service was spot on and our food was flavorful. Small place but loaded with personality and flavor. Highly recommended by none other than Stanly Tucci himself.

Like many others we’d seen Stanley Tucci’s TV programme when he visited and it looked like our kind of place so headed here as soon as we arrived for our day in Venice. We had a variety of bruschetta with a glass of Prosecco. Just...perfect. Get there if you can - currently open from 10am to 2.30pm.More

What to say..... Maybe the best food in Venice. A variety of cicchetti, always different, always fresh. Also the wine selection is superb. Despite the high number of customers all staff is very friendly and relaxed. A must on your trip to Venice

We ate a bunch of small toasts, and they all were nice. There is a wide variety of toasts for every taste. Recommend with Aperol.

Update on their hours of operation. They open at 10:00am and close at 2:30pm. We went there at 8:00 because it was listed here in TripAdvisor that it was open 8:00am to 2:30.

It took us a little while to find this little ciccetto spot but finally stumbled upon the line. Being a top lunch spot in Venice and since Somebody Feed Phil visited them, its a very busy with a long line which moved at an OK...speed. Most of the choices are fish but there were fried shrimp and shrimp cichetto as well as adult beverages and they do take credit cards. Takeout only.More

Something about this little bar that must be experienced. Not too expensive and some decent Prosecco and cicchetti . Always full and a great atmosphere! Wonderful pit-stop.

Like many other recent reviewers our visit was inspired by Stanley Tucci who is Italian on both sides! Our time in Venice was limited as we used it as a stop gap to the airport following a trip to the Dolomites (don’t worry we’ve done...most of the tourist sights during a visit a few years ago!). Mr Tucci was certainly right about this place as the the cicchetti were delicious (although the salted cod one was not quite to our taste!). The local wine was very nice too. We ordered a selection of Cicchetti to try. Given its popularity it is quite small and were lucky enough to share a table (standing) outside with a family visiting from America.More
