Great pizza and pasta. Good value for money. Service was nothing special but for the type of place it was ok.

A lovely little bistro on the main area off the grand canal. Great menu for lunch with traditional pasta and pizza and also a burgers and salad option. Good value for money and a great place to people watch.

We had the 'classic' burger. It was just about cooked in the middle. Don't come here if you're overly fussy. Plenty of other places to eat at.

If you like packet uncooked pasta tubes and canned diced tomatoes as the sauce then go here, very disappointed for our first meal in Venice. Coffee was good Add the extra tax to your bill and doesn't make a quick cheap bite to eat. Everyone says to avoid the tourist areas but in Venice that's practically impossible

My husband really enjoyed the sauce on his marguerite pizza. My sauce was spicier on the pepperoni pizza, but I loved it😀Prices are reasonable and staff is fast and attentive. Very small wine and beer portions. Outside tables are very close. Very typical of all the pizza places here. Good family food.

We stayed in hotel next door and have a light late lunch there yesterday. The spaghetti carbonara was rich and tasty, but was a little bit small. Pizza Margarita was nice with chewy dough. We ordered soft drink and mineral water and found they charged 1 euro corkage as well. It costed a total of 4 Euro for a 330... More

Went here for lunch and got some nice spritz, excellent pizza and just when we thought we were done, the waiter asked us if we would like any desert. We were not too keen but he insisted to try their homemade tiramisu. So we gave it a shot and its one of the best recommendations that we have ever had.... More

Three days ago we went to La Lista Bistro in Venice as we saw a Jazz Trio setting up their instruments inside and thought it would be nice to eat with music in the background. I ordered lasagne, my wife a pizza, my son spaghetti carbonara and my daughter a burger. As soon as the food arrived my daughter realised... More

I'm sorry for your bad experience. A can guarantee that our dishes are prepared at the moment so they are fresh and homemade. Portions are good for one person and are reasonable with its price. I know that waiter gaved you a new burger in a very little time because fortunately someone order the same of yours. The 2 €... More

The pasta was given in very small dishes. It wasn't of very good quality. The best food they have is the burgers

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighbourhood Profile
Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighbourhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
