3 nights in Venice and we hit the jackpot on our last night. We both craved some Vegetables, somewhere with a 'family' or 'local' feel - away from the San Marco tourists; but delicious and simple. We had not booked, but arrived at 6:45 and...More

We stayed at the Sterns along the Grand Canal. We wanted to remain on our hotel terraza but wanted to experience another restaurant in our neighborhood. Our hotels concierge recommended Oniga. While the restaurant does not do "take away", Andreas called and asked them for...More

This was our first stop after arriving in Venice and checking into our hotel. It had a nice little outdoor seating area in a square. We had a nice lunch. I wouldn’t say the food would set the world on fire, but it was good....More

We enjoyed our fish sampler appetizer, as well as our wine. We had the liver and pasta for main course. The food was good, the service excellent. This is a busy place and we just squeezed in, suggesting that reservations are preferred.

Enjoyed our dinner here. Outside setting in a small plazza. Very efficient service and interesting menu. We were not excited about the food and expected more given the reviews but enjoyed our evening nonetheless. Definitely need a booking. We couldn’t get in til 9.30pm and...More

I had the tuna, and my husband had the gnocchi. Both were very good. Prices were good, too. The only reason I did not give this five stars is that they were woefully understaffed. Our waitress was working her tail off but service was still...More
