Delicious seafood and pasta restaurant by the canal. It's good to have a glass of wine and sit by the canal for an afternoon watching local people commute via motor boats. Interestingly somehow it's fully packed with Korean female tourists in the place during meal...More

I had lunch on my own at Bar Pontini and spent almost 50 euros. Overall, the food was quite good. Service was average as is for many of the so called ‘better restaurants’ I found in Venice. Once they take your order it’s almost downhill...More

The Seafood ravioli, the grande antipasto, the tortellini scallopini & especially the tiramisu- so, so good! The service is fast, wonderful service, made to feel very welcome & part of this wonderful family. Our hotel recommended this restaurant. Highly recommended by us, but either book...More

I absolutely LOVED my porcini and eggplant pasta. My husband felt he got shorted on his fruitti di mare, but the seafood that was included was good. The tiramisu is to die for. Handmade everyday and they sell out quickly!

Went to this restaurant based on the reviews on this site, most of which must be spurious. Food was edible which is the best compliment I can give, and it was hugely overpriced. Service was diabolical, and we went when it was quiet. Be careful...More

Intimate restaurant and enthusiastic service. The food was very good, especially the fish dishes. The house wine was perfect for us. The dessert list is short but as we like tiramisu that wasn't a problem. We would certainly return.

Before going to this place I read that they are picky on choosing which clients should stay at their tables. Not sure if this is true but when I asked for a table there was a strange pause and the lady looked very careful at...More

The food is amazing, went there twice during our two day stay in Venice. The queue is a bit long, but the food is worth waiting. Service is also super friendly. Already missing it.

This place was honestly the dream, so, I had to write a review! We went during carnival time and the waiters had the best energy and had us all laughing and celebrating. The pasta dishes are reasonably priced (even for students) and were probably the...More

The seafood pasta was very fresh and amazing. The pasta was home made and it was very juicy with a perferct consistency . The tiramisu was also very good. Moreover, the staff were very warmth and especially the male waiter was always smiling and very...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
