Very yummy. This is Michelin quality food. Really liked all the dishes we had. Definitely not a tourist trap, despite the great location. Very quiet part of Venice. This place will be enjoyed by discerning palettes.

Wonderful food. Every mouthful was divine! Our best meal in Venice and much better prices than other places. The staff were attentive and friendly. The ambience was tasteful and relaxing. The wine waiter was so knowledgeable and even wrote down some vineyards for us to...visit on our drive back home. Strongly recommended.More
Everything my girlfriend and I tried here was magnificent. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and the risotto was perfectly cooked and was some of the best I’ve ever had. Though the best thing we had there was the onion soup, it was potentially the...best onion soup I’ve ever. Definitely give that a try when you go!More
You have to search out this restaurant, it is down a narrow alley and you are welcomed into a courtyard where there is outdoor dining. We sat outside on a Saturday night in early September. The staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable about their wine...list and menu. Delicious food made with the freshest of ingredients - simply sublime. Could not recommend highly enough - a must visit!.More
Yum. Service was good and had the loveliest food! Local red wine great! Would recommend this restaurant
Excellent restaurant with both inspired food and great wine list paired with your meal if required. Staff are knowledgeable both about the food and the extensive wine list. Thanks to Ania who helped make our experience of this restaurant unforgettable a memory to treasure Sitting...outside is lovely, it is mid-priced but worth it. A well placed restaurant in a quiet courtyard in San Marco We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place to anyone visiting Venice - easy to book onlineMore
We had booked, which was essential, and paid a deposit in case of no show (a good policy) and although we were early were seated in the courtyard and treated very well. The menu choice was perfect and small (always a good sign) and whilst...I couldn’t see why a hamburger was on the menu (maybe it was deconstructed?) our food was beautifully cooked, well presented and delicious. The only downside was a table of four Americans (three quiet - one male, two females - and looking bored) that dominated the courtyard by talking about his work, his staff and his conquests. Maybe he was their boss but he was a drunken bore and a poor example of his country, and the restaurant staff should have asked him to quieten down since every table kept looking across at him. This didn’t spoil the food but ruined the atmosphere.More
My wife and I had an amazing dinner here. The wait staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and was able provide excellent details about the delicious menu. Plus, I left a bag there by accident and they called me shortly after we left to...pick it up. Great customer service!More
Service at its best, always attentive and overseeing the table situations, very nice and charismatic people. The service has a lot of knowledge about a huge wine repertoire and explains every dish to its finest detail without getting boring. All the dishes we had were...creative and had an outstanding taste to them. The wine is a little pricy but is worth the cost, the overall experience and quality of food are worth what you pay for it. We paid 120 € for 2 courses, 4 glasses of wine and two desserts. Would book a table again without thinking about it.More
Came here for dinner. Was hoping to sit outside but it was raining. We were sat indoors which felt a little bit too sparse sparse and we could hear all neighbouring conversations. However food was excellent and exceeded first impressions. Excellent flavours and pasta was...delicious. Only negative was their 2 wine suggestions but that could have been subjective.More
Great little restaurant in Venice that you won't regret! Great food, amazing service and it became the highlight of our trip to Venice. We will definitely be back
Creative and delicious food with warm and helpful service. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want food that is fresh and unusual. Truly a delightful eating experience.
We had a very good meal here - husband started with a lovely white asparagus dish, I had a beef "tataki", sounds very fusion-y, but really wasn't, just great ingredients, interesting presentation. Husband had sous vide chicken for dinner, chicken perfect, skin not crispy enough,...I had a spaghetti that was a cacio e pepe riff, it was all kinds of delicious. We shared a really great creme brûlée for dessert. Seemed like a very popular date spot, we would return.More
Perfecto, the lunch was perfect. I'm in wheelshair and all people were very kind. Highly recomanded
Your standard Venice pizza and pasta place this is not. If you are seeking a fine dining experience in Venice this is where you need to head. BOOK to avoid disappointment. Also seek out the location in advance, we walked past it two nights in...a row when out looking. Does give it a back street exclusive feel. A vast wine list with natural vintages (don’t let your this put you off) they are happy to advise, we went for the Prosecco (cheapest they had - I’m not a big wine person). I am a food person however and Ai Mercanti does not disappoint - excellent technical cooking - Sousvide chicken and the best octopus I have ever had, so tender like a scallop. Superb local cured meats. But not overly fussy or complicated plating. Very honest and delicious. Immaculate kitchen as I could see in the door (always a good sign). Deserts were exceptional, Interpretations of chocolate and the chefs desert of the day really blew us away. Just felt very special. So far removed from all the other eateries around it.More
