Absolutely charming restaurant and a wonderful meal from start to finish. Owned by wonderful group of brothers. Squid fettuccini was amazing as was the salt baked sea bass. Wonderful local white wine and finished with Sgroppino. Great experience.

This was the restaurant chosen for my mother's Birthday celebration. The staff was wonderful and the food was very fantastic. Share the appetizers as they are large. We had the sea bass cooked in a salt crust and it was fantastic. Again great for two people. It was worth the walk.

We had a wonderful time here. The staff were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, kid and full of personality and fun. The menu had lots of Venetian treats, including Venice special of Liver and onions (if you like that, this was good). The restaurant was busy and full both nights, so if you haven't booked try to get there before 8. We... More

We happened upon this place by chance & decided to roll the dice and have dinner. We were seated outside at a small table on a tiny side street at the back of the restaurant. The service was friendly and professional. The food was good but not outstanding. We shared each course and it was plenty for the 2 of... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant when we first arrived and needed somewhere to eat. We wish they hadn't! We pushed the boat out and had four courses but not one of them was spot on. I had beef carpaccio to start with, which according to the menu was served with crispy salad. There was plenty of beef, which was, in... More

Recommended by our hotel and were not disappointed. The food was very good and the atmosphere buzzing with mostly local people. We were well looked after and made to feel welcome

When a restaurant is full of locals like the gondoliers, you have to expect that it's going to be good and La Feluca was! We had minestrone and lasagne and really enjoyed it. The portions were generous too.

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
