What a wonderful little, lovely place in an authentic neighborhood of Venice, not flooded with crowds! Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service and lovely jazzy music in the background! All dishes delicious, the one that we really loved the most, was the “monkfish”!!! If you don’t mind...More

Excellent food in a cozy small restaurant. Central but in a quieter area of Venice than the most busy tourist tracks. We got great recommendations from the staff, and enjoyed the food, wines and atmosphere a lot. We will definitely be back next time we...More

Myself and my girlfriend visited the restaurant on Monday 11th February for a romantic final meal in Venice, with high hopes after seeing the menu, and social media imagery. Unfortunately, the welcome was cold, the service slow (only 1 other table in), with both the...More

We come to Venice once a year, either with the kids or without. Each time, we try new restaurants but also go back to our loved ones. Yesterday evening was another diner at l'Orto dei Mori and once again, the food was delicious. The wine...More

We were staying near by and were walking on a chilly but sunny day. Small but artful restaurant with an equally delightful menu. The staff is helpful and interested. Great wines by the glass. Go for it

The location of this restaurant is Cannaregio is very suggestive. Food and service are pretty good, even if most probably the price range is a bit too high when compared with other restaurant. Indicated for a romantic dinner, outside if the weather conditions allow it.

Recommended to us, we went for dinner on a Saturday evening. The place was booked up and we were offered an outside table. Unfortunately near an outdoor bar with a table of very noisey cigar smokers. We asked if we could move and they found...More

With this Aqua Alta day, we hesitated to go out during the evening, having almost 1,5m of water outside. Due to the very good reviews of the restaurant, we decided to try it. Food is overpriced as in most of venician restaurants but food was...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
