Unfortunately, the offerings here are adequate without being spectacular. The pasta ordered by Sandi and a couple of new acquaintances was okay, but my grilled prawns were bereft of meat although they did have the alimentary canals (canals, Venice, geddit?) still attached which made the...More

This trattoria is something looking like a well kept secret. Far from the hustle and bustle of San Marco area (stop St. Elena with the ferry), authentical recipes from Venice and locals eating there. I've tried polenta with shrimps and cod fish, liver with onion...More

I love writing reviews for people and I always like to be positive and truthful. We needed food as it was getting late and the place nearby that we used the night before was booked. On looking at the menu the only thing I fancied...More

within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over
one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime
neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side
streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals
