We, grandparents, our son and his wife and two girls, aged 14 and 10, were looking for somewhere to eat out, our first night in Venice. As we were checking out the menu a waiter came out to talk to us. The prices on the...More

Ordered the seafood pasta and cuttlefish pasta, both were absolutely delicious! The pasta was cooked al dente and was very flavourful. The tiramisu was very authentic.

We visited the place "catched" by a nice waiter.. Hopping to get something fresh and special we ordered "menu del giorno".. Unfortunately, apart from the lovable service, the kitchen is terrible. "farfatte con salomon e gambelli" only by color resembled salmon:( without any fish inside,...More

We had not known that our favourite fish restaurant in Venice was closed for renovation and we thus found ourselves in a disappointing bind when we were confronted by its shuttered front door. Luckily we had a Plan B – and telephoned to check if...More

Just off the beaten path under an arch in the midst of the old market area by the Rialto bridge. It had all the hall marks of being one of those tourist disappointments: great location, beckoning waiters, English menu, the promise of “local specialities -...More

We ate here around 3.00pm and I think it was a little late for lunch. I chose the seafood menu and had a delicious swordfish spaghetti as a starter. Unfortunately my next dish of mixed fish was pretty dried out as if it had been...More

It was very expensive, the price value rate is not so good. The bill is including the service, but the waiter, when the bring it, he say (loudly) “The service is not inclouded”. After that his laughing with his collegues. This is quite scandalous.

We stopped here for dinner on our first night in Venice. We just happened upon it while out walking around. This was the best dinner we had in Venice (only in town for 2 nights). The lasagna was fantastic. The gnocchi was equally as good....More

neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San

Must be new. Can't find it in your listings. One of the best meals I had in 10 days of Italy. Gnochi with shrimp in a curry sauce. Recommended by our tour guide. We were on a Rick Steves tour
