This was our first introduction to Venice and it was delicious!! Our guide took us here or we never would have found it. We enjoyed deep fried anchovies & cheese, soppresatta, meatballs. I wish I was back there now drinking a Campari spritz and eating...More

Tasty. Ate upstairs. Suggest making a reservation. The downstairs entryway can get crowded at night. The traditional Venetian seafood appetizer was an awesome option to try different foods. 17 euros per person, min 2 people. Clam pasta was ok. They take credit card for >=...More

Bacarando in Corte dell'Orso is a nice place to spend time with friends in. Not easy to find without a map, but one of those in Venice which are not too touristy, so - worth finding!

Closest thing you will find to an Internet cafe in Central Venice tucked away in a discreet alley. Friendly staff and a great restaurant upstairs.

Bacarando Bar is like a Tapas bar. Lots of small foods to eat but also they have some killer wine. The fizzy red wine, which sound different is a sleeper of a surprise. So much so we bought a bottle from the Bar to take...More

Lost again in the backstreets of Venice after visiting the Rialto and then we came across this restaurant with lots of character and a locals' haunt. We enjoyed a restorative coffee and had a comfy seat before moving on. We hadn't seen Cicchetti before and...More

I am from the area and I can recognise the "business model" of this place. When we got in, the rude bartender (I see she has been mentioned in a few negative reviews already, look them up) appeared to not know the price of the...More
