Went here as part of a wine bar and small plate tour. There is a decent amount of choices and relatively large seating area. We had maybe some better food on the tour but it was still very good.

Hidden down a tiny street and not the original little bar we were heading for but tasty pizza inside! It’s close to a gondola mending business - around 2 mins way. Our visit seemed to be filled with locals of all ages - really busy...More

Bumped into this small locals cafe/ restaurant, not really sure if we were going to fit in, but were shown to a table and in impeccable English , were consulted as to what we wanted. We ordered two pizzas and even though they took 10...More

Second visit to this homely little snack bar serving "Tramezzini" or Venetian sandwiches. They challenge Britain's claim to have invented the sandwich... not sure about that one. In any case, the sandwiches are white bread, absolutely stuffed with filling - a huge range of them...More

Stopped here twice for tramezzini and vino. The bread is so amazingly fresh! We were recommended by locals to only buy from the places that have their offerings covered by a cloth not plastic. The wine was good too. We’ve had the crab, ham, horse,and...More

Selected a Rustica: salami, cheese, tomato on pita type roll. Was good. Great option to grab something simple for a fair price. Friendly staff. More pizza and sandwich type options as you enter Plaza Santa Margarita.

I was taken here by an Italian friend to try the local speciality, Tramazzini. The filled sandwich type snacks were delicious. They were 1.60€ for take away and 2€to eat in. I had 4 different types and each was amazing. The crab and egg one...More

The sandwiches are good and are obviously the speciality here. Prepared fresh. On the other hand the pasta dishes are frozen microwave heated dishes. Best avoided. Particularly disappointing for such simple dishes as spaghetti with tomato sauce.... Scandalous

If you are in Venice and are getting bored with the standard breakfast of your hotel, be sure to check out this place. It is right behind Galleria dell'Accademia and it serves the best tramezzini sandwiches ever. It opens early, but since the tramezzinis are...More

Visit this place for the tramezzini! It's the official 'birthplace' of these wonderful sandwiches. Don't expect a beautiful restaurant or great pasta/pizza - it's a 'snackbar' that focuses on amazing Tramezzini sandwiches that go well with a proper Spritz (like many places in Venezia). Theres...More

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with
street artists, students, painters, sculptors,
