8 September 2017. We went along to this restaurant without a reservation. We were told by the waiter that they were full for the whole night. I telephoned a couple of minutes later and, magically, a reservation was available within the next 20 minutes. Message...More

Our group of four visited this place based on the good reviews on this site. We weren't disappointed. When we arrived, early evening, there was nobody else in the restaurant. All tables outside, apart from one, was reserved, we got the last one. Within an...More

This place is a little off the tourist track and it was peaceful to sit down here after a day of walking through Venice. The food here was pretty good and reasonably priced but the best thing were the waiters. The one serving is was...More

Great location in a quiet square. Got busy later in the evening, so probably worth reserving if you want to sit outside. Service was friendly throughout. Vegetarian options are limited (one antipasto, one primo), but I'm told they were excellent. I rather enjoyed my fishy...More

The restaurant is located in a very nice and quiet place. The service is excellent as the waiters are always there to help you. The food is average and expensive, we ordered a salad, grilled vegetables and two main dishes and we paid 60 euros....More

Everything said open on a Sunday at 6:00pm, but after trekking through many tiny alleys, all locked up. Call before you bother to believe the listing.

We go regularly to Venice for the biennale Thus we tend to stay in Sestriere Castello to be close to Arsenale etc. We also like the area for its fewer shops and crowds - peaceful. The Trattoria da Jonny was the first restaurant of this...More

The cost is excessive, I cannot see how a simple plate of pasta can cost justify the cost of €15-€16, neither the serving size nor importantly the flavour cone even close to justifying this cost. Yes, I know 'it's Venice' but we've (a family of...More

We had a delicious dinner at this restaurant a bit off the tourist trail. Very nice service. Air conditioned inside. Family friendly. Can do large groups with advance notice. Classic Italian menu with options for kids. Good value.

within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over
one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime

Yes. Didn't encounter one restaurant in Italy that wasn't happy to do that. Their portions are large.
