We stopped in here tonight for a quick bite to eat. We didn't try the pizza but had chicken kabobs. They were very good! The service was fast and staff were friendly. Wish this was a bigger place with a little bigger seating and some climate control

OK I admit, it not NYC pizza nor your southern italian quality pizza but it is good and satisfying. Wish there were more crazy toppings.

We were in Venice for less than 24 hours and as luck would have it, it rained and rained and rained! Anyway, we still walked around for 4-5 hours with our umbrellas and soaking wet shoes. We stopped at this little pizza place on our way back from St. Mark's Square. We ordered a full pizza (Euro 6) which had... More

This is a great place to get a quick bite with great service. The food is quite simple but is a great for a short stop for couples or small group.

After seeing the reviews on here and the fact this place is just around the corner from our hotel meant we had to give it a try. I had the calzone and my girlfriend a slice of the Italian pizza and were both pleasantly surprised by how fresh and tasty the food was and for 6 euros you can't ask... More

We recently returned to Becca Pizza, a tiny little place on the small Calle Del Carbon, just off Campo S. Luca in San Marco district, after having some very good slices of pizza during a trip to Venice a few years back. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the pizza slices as much this time, finding them a bit under-baked and underwhelming... More

This is a tiny takeout pizza shop that is so reasonable and good. A whole pizza is €6. You can buy pizza by the slice or as a whole pizza. They also sell calzones. They make the pizzas to order and were kind enough to make us exactly what we wanted. We had a 4-cheese pizza, and they put mushrooms... More

Venice is expensive and the food isn't that great.... but this pizza place hit the spot! We tried other pizza places that were not as good and twice the price. Wish we would have found it sooner.

Best pizza we've had in venice. And the prices were very good as well! It seems like most places in venice epically near the rialto bridge are expensive but not here

We paid 3.50 euro for a calzone that was freshly made...very different from other overpriced under delivered food experiences in Venice. 5 stars from us - we will be back tomorrow!!

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
