Been staying with my sister before deciding to sign a lease. Nice and quiet and filled with families. There is a security guard at night. Maintenance is great-they are fast and courteous! More parking is being added which is definitely needed, so that's awesome. Close to downtown! it is good service i love this hotel..

The pasta at this restaurant is truly authentic Italian style and is one of the best places in Venice to have pasta. Also, it is affordable and totally worth the money.

In a city I paid where I paid $26 for a beer and Aperol Spritz (I admit, I was paying for the view at San Marco), this restaurant was a wonderful break! The pizza is amazing, and the owner remembered us on our 2nd visit, and greeted us as friends with a glass of wine and conversation! Slightly off the... More

We stopped here because it was right around the corner from the Hotel Arlecchino, plus the tables looked inviting with large canopies and a to-die for view of the canal. We had just arrived in Venice and wanted to try the pizza. So glad we did. It was the best pizza of our 5-days in Venice! The owner Carlo was... More

Close to the Hotel Olimpia, this canal side restaurant offered good food and good service. It was the perfect start to our afternoon in Venice.

We ate here 3 times in our 9 day stay in Venice. Wish we had found it sooner as definitely the best restaurant we found. Staff were amazing, friendly, fun and very helpful. The owner was there every night too and welcomed people in rather than shouting for your business as you passed, which a lot of restaurants do in... More

We ate in this restaurant twice on our recent stay in Venice since it was just around the corner from our hotel. Both times we were very impressed with everything. Friendly service and delicious food! Great location for watching both the canal and the people walking along the sidewalk. This restaurant definitely was one of the highlights of our trip!

Thank Kathy P

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighbourhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
