Good local Venetian food. Lots of fresh seafood from the lagoon on the menu. Kitchen immaculate as we could see it from our table. Food all freshly cooked to order. Nice wine list. Reasonable prices. The spider crab gnocchi was delicious. Pleasant service. Lots of...More

We had lunch there. The place is small, eating outside would have been nice, but there were too many smokers. We ate in a pleasant courtyard. The ambiance isn't the greatest, but the food was exceptional. Just go for the food especially the crab gnoochi.

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying

for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
