You know it's good when the locals are jammed in the place. And not only do you have two of the cutest guys in Venice serving your coffee but you also get to do some awesome people watching as you sip your delicious macchiato. Perfect location for a quick stop before shopping or after dinner. The pastries are awesome too!

I enjoyed a leisurely cappuccino and croissant here, sitting where I could watch life happen on the streets around me. The croissant was delicious, though sweeter than others I've had elsewhere, and the cappuccino was also extremely good.

I grabbed a cup of cappuccino here while strolling around in lovely Venice and it was nice and cheap. Try one of them mini tarts while you are at it.

Our guide recommended this cafe. There were six of us and we all had different drinks and cannolis. I can say it was the best coffee I have tasted. Everybody in the party gave the drinks 10 out of 10 and the same went for the various pastries consumed. Give it a visit you will not be disappointed. Fantastic.

We went here most days for breakfast coffee and croissant. Much the best. Service brisk, it is very busy always a good sign. Full of locals. You can sit up at high stools to watch the world go by, no one bothers you to move on, so no hassle. Try out your italian - duo americani - and you will... More

This cafe is perfect. It's the first cafe my husband and I went into right after we left our hotel and it was perfect. Very easy to find, and extremely personable. It's a small coffee shop with a bar sitting area, but it's perfect for your cappuccino and pastry fix. My husband and I both got cappuccinos and a crescent... More

We were staying at the Antico Portego b&b just opposite this place and after a day of walking and exploring after dinner we decided we'd go for a couple of drinks near where our b&b was and then go sleep as we were both pretty tired! But we actually ended up sitting here for 3 hours drinking lots of beer... More

We randomly found this place as we were exploring Venice. It was a pleasant surprise! The coffee was excellent! Smooth and fragrant. No regrets having the coffee there 👍👍👍👍 Do check out the place when you are near Rialto area.

Fantastic coffee and pastries. We had the cappuccino creme and cannoli creme. Sit , if there's space, and watch the shoppers hurry past. Surrounded by coffee paraphernalia and locals. Worth the visit especially combined with White gelateria just a few yards away.

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
