Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was our second visit to Osteria enoteca ai artisti and it wasn’t disappointing. It is small very charming restaurant with home atmosphere. Service always amazing and food absolutely divine. It is located just outside of tourist area but very easy walkable from st Marco...square. Restaurant menu is quite small but each dish is really nicely made and presented. It is very nice for romantic dinner or for family with older kids. Proper traditional local food with local seafood. Just fresh, tasty wrapped with good wine and very friendly service. We definitely will be backMore

We had the daily fish dish. It came with vegetables and was excellent. So was the wine (by the glass). Very kind service. Hope to be back. Highly recommended.

We were staying across the canal, on our first night, walked past, the sign said closed, we asked if we could get some grappa and limoncello. Alex said yes to the grappa, but the limoncello was not yet ready. In addition, brought out some other...drinks to try. We made reservations for the next evening (late, as they are very busy), and they called when our table was near ready (about 30 minutes early). Food and drinks were great. Alex and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and gracious.More

Just had a meal in here and can’t recommend highly enough. Have struggled a bit to find a good restaurant over the 4 nights we’ve been here, bit hit and miss in our choices. Tonight we hit jackpot. The food, and service here were absolutely...perfect. Could tell I’d like this place as soon as we walked in as wasn’t met with usual 80’s Muzak but rather some cool Milano jazz, the kind that makes you relax and know you’re in for ‘classier’ food. As most other reviews say, this is a must book considering they only do two sittings at night and definitely cater for a smaller number of diners. The food is modern Italian, packed with flavour from local fresh well-cooked ingredients. The menu is small which is always a sign of good things to come and the presentation of the dishes is beautiful. Everything down to the quality napkins and tableware made this dining experience tasteful. There’s an excellent selection of wines (if on the pricier side), but think this is generally a Venice thing. Loved this place and so glad we found it for our last night in Venice.More

At here recently having booked a few weeks in advance. They can seat about 15-20 inside so booking is a must. The food is seafood based with some very good meat dishes. We shared the seated octopus to start and then a blue goats cheese...stuffed tortellini. Both were amazing. I had mullet and my wife had the seared tuna. Both were superbly cooked. The service was prompt friendly and helpful. We asked for a break between courses and this was no problem at all. We finished with Panna cotta and biscuits with a sweet wine. Both excellent. We asked the waiter to recommend a wine which he did and it was lovely. Overall this was a good value meal at about £150 for the 2 of us. Having eaten at other more famous restaurants in Venice during our stay (testiere) we both felt this knocked spots off all the competition. Thanks !!More

This is a small restaurant with space inside for around 12 and 10 outside. They take bookings for either 7 or 9.30pm and the menu changes regularly. We shared an anti-pasta and pasta dish and had our own mains, slow cooked pork rib and a...venison dish. The food and their flavours is testimony to the chefs skill, excellent! Italy is a great place for food, but in a tourist place like Venice it’s not hard to find mediocre. If you want to go beyond that, I recommend you book a place her in advance. Excellent wine selection too.More

This gorgeous little restaurant was one of our trip highlights - the food was modern Venetian and every dish was superb. The melt-in-the-mouth beef and the octopus were particular highlights. We went as a family of 6 with children aged 11-20 and we all enjoyed...it. The service from our charming waiter was incredibly friendly. It’s tiny so booking is essential but well worth seeking out!More

We stumbled upon this place on our last night in Venice, and what a wonderful find. They were able to accommodate our party of three at the last minute. Service was excellent, and the food was very creative and delicious. Venice has a reputation for...mediocre food, but this was far from mediocre. Be sure to try the desserts … the fruit dessert with a sprinkle of chili powder was unusual and so special. So glad we found this hidden gem!More

If you are on the Academia side of Venice, you will know it's a more chilled out place. We wanted lunch and just went the opposite way all the tourists were going. How fortunate to stumble across this tiny but wonderful enoteca. First class service...and beautiful pork and elegant homemade pasta, paired with unusual and interesting wines. Service was great and friendly, but it is tiny so book ahead. I will CERTAINLY return to this great placeMore
