We ate here with 2 kids, the chef made a special for the kids and I ate the seafood and spaghetti which was very nice. The waitress was very friendly and spoke good English.

The trattoria is less good following the transfer of ownership this year. Reasonable quality for lunch. A bit out on a limb for the evening and not really a destination venue.

Lovely folk, good local wine, good local food - no pretentions, simple, well presented and tastes good - well worth a visit.

Waiters were nice. That's all. The wine was disgusting (could not finish my 1st glass!), my meat (escalope) was not good with a terrible mushroom sauce, the ravioli of my girl friend were small and industrial, such as my fries.. and it was expensive (12-25 € for a dish)... and the atmosphere ...we had electro music, then tv... mayonnaise in... If you find yourself in Alghero don't miss Lo Chalet. We were treated to wonderful fresh, regional food. The staff were very friendly all adding to a relaxed feel and meal. We will be back on our next trip.

We like to try out local food and thought that we would be able to find some on the menu in a Trattoria. We were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted by a young lady. It turned out... More

This restaurant seems to have better TA ratings that a number that I tried in Alghero that were considerably better. The antipasto was fine but the pasta was very ordinary with hardly any indication of the "ragu". It's a fairly ordinary atmosphere with plastic chairs and tables and when the karaoke started I confess that I was glad to be... More

We ate here 3 times on our trip, It is like a chalet on the edge of town across the road from the much quieter beach (Maria De Pia I think) as well. We rented bikes from Alghero even though you can walk it as well. The food is beautiful, staff are very helpful, very relaxing atmosphere will definitely be... More
