This Ristorante is difficult to find but is well worth hunting down! The owner is so friendly and personable, i was on my own and he spend most of the evening in between numerous little dishes of brilliant Sardinian cuisine talking to me or introducing me to other tables. when i left he gave me a kiss on both cheeks... Nothing quite prepares you for an evening with Dr Ampex, or Dr Tampax as one of our party insisted on calling it. A joke that began wearing thin after two hours. It's like sitting in someone's front room... and that's because it's precisely what you do. Dr Ampex (his name is Paulo, he loves jazz and he's half-barmy, but in... More

After reading previews reviews we expected much more. Nothing special, nether the atmosphere nor the food. Our menu was quite average, with no highlights. We did like the red home produced wine and the mirto at the end of the meal. Would be much better to spend 30 EUR/person somewhere else.

You will feel welcome in this restaurant by Gian Paulo who will introduce products he has found fresh on the market to prepare the diner of the day. In our case fresh summer truffles and home-made ricotta. No menu in this restaurant but a dinner prepared according to the mood of Gian Paulo and the freshest ingredients found on the... More

Chef does not give you a menu. Just follow his rules and trust him! Weird method but it is worth! Quality and organic products. Homemade wine, excellent presentation and a really really reasonable price!

A great experience, completely different to what I imagined it would be. We booked and amazingly the owner was waiting for us out side the restuarant/house! Great welcome and straight into the meal. There is no menu! The eating experience was like a Greek or Turkish meze i.e. lots of Sardinia sourced products that were fused together to create an... More

Even the wine had been produced by my the owner. Don't go too early - the eat very late here! Thank you for a wonderful... More
