Almost everyone at this restaurant had pizza for dinner which I didn’t think was really very good (my husband ordered and I tasted). Fortunately I got side tracked and ordered the shrimp & raw zucchini antipasto and the sliced beef with arugula, radicchio, shaved Parmesan and roasted hazelnuts - both were excellent. Good service - pleasant atmosphere - busy with... More

I shared a table with two colleagues. We had pizza, fish and risotto. All dishes were good. Sadly the red wine (local Cannonau) was a bit hot.

I found the restaurant thanks to the advice of friend. Waiters are really friendly and, although not speaking much English, they manage to help us with our choices. They even changed our booked table to move us closer to the window, as it was a really warm evening. The food was good and, unlike some Italian restaurant, they brought all... More

We arrived around 1pm and they were open! Very good restaurant, perfect food, great atmosphere, every friendly personal. Even if they don't speak english, they are trying to explain everything you ask. We tried local cheese and salami as a starter. They don't serve pizza during lunch so we tried pasta and gnocchi. Delicious!! Tutti bene!

Like a couple of others here, we stumbled upon this place by chance one lunchtime. Luckily we arrived early ( at 1pm!!) as by 1.30, it was full. Lovely food...we had a pasta dish then the grilled meat platter. Good wine list and lovely, friendly Sarde service. Don't know what it's like in the evening but this lunchtuime it was... More

We stayed in Sassari for a few days in early October on a short birthday break to Sardinia. We found restaurant hunting in Sassari troublesome - our hotel was out of town, and it's restaurant was closed. Tripadvisor to the rescue. On a backstreet, very unpretentious. When we arrived at 8pm it looked empty. We wondered whether to go in.... More

We were in Sassari one evening in July 2009, visiting the town and starving (we hadn't got used yet to the 20:00/20:30 opening hrs of most restaurants). The town has its charms, but on that occasion only few restaurants were open, and the few which were, appeared somewhat "touristic" - english menus, not too keen personnel etc. So, resigned to...
