this was advertised as traditional local food. The waiter suggested a starter- it was kind of OK. The main courses were vile. I had a kind of chicken escalope- tasted like breadcrumbs had just been added after cooking. My companion ordered meat balls in tomato sauce- they didn't have this so the waiter suggested sausages in the same- basically it... More

We were made very welcome at this busy family orientated Osteria on a busy Saturday evening. The food is simple but good. I tried caponata which I didn't like very much but my pasta with sardines was very good. We were givena drink on the house andthe bill was very reasonable.

We were in Osteria Lo Bianco for dinner, the menu is affordable and very good quality. Good wines and perfect atmosphere. The service is excellent. If you want to enjoy a typical sicilian atmosphere, come here.

It's a wonderful restaurant which has all male waiters. Lovely service and they have English menu. Antipasto is only 4 euros. Total meal for 2 people with three courses and coffee and wine (only one drinker), only 35 euros. The waiter is so friendly and like to give you things to try. I only want regrets not to find this... Somewhat local restaurant. Warm atmosphere. Crowded and loud in a positive way. Average service. Staff speaks almost no English, but are helpful. Typical Sicilian food. This was my first dining experience in Sicily so I would not know a lot about the cuisine. I know that they did not have half their menu! Cricche and Panelle were my first experiences.... More

I do not recommend to anyone. Why? They didn’t have about half dishes from the menu and finally when we ordered we received our plates after literally 6 minutes and they weren’t so hot…Pasta sarde was with a lot of fish bones, I eat 2 buns because without this it was impossible to eat this. Also on the page was... More

Ate there as part of our included dinner on our tour of Sicily. Most of us had swordfish. I.love fish and this was my first time trying swordfish. I thought it was very gamey, and almost had unpalatable taste. Didn't say anything as I thought that was what it was supposed to be. Talked to some of my fellow travelers... More

We came across this place whilst taking an evening walk from where we were staying and it looked really welcoming. The family who owns it were wonderful and most hospitable. We went with the recommendations and were not disappointed at all. We had a combination of pasta, seafood and meat which were yummy. A lovely atmosphere to end an evening.... More
