We stayed 3 days in Palermo and the cambusone was the best quality price. The sardine meat balls were just mouthwatering .

This is a smallish restaurant, formerly called Santandrea, so important to book as the kitchen probably needs to know numbers. We ate on a Monday evening in early March; the room downstairs was set out for a big graduation celebration, and there were a further four small tables upstairs where we ate with a few other couples. Despite the business... More
Locals recommended this place, but we only found tourists. However the food was great. The local shrimp, while fresh, seemed soft. The waiter came out with the fresh shrimp for me to sample -- indeed they are soft even when fresh. The sardine pasta and the antipasto buffet were exceptional. The local carafe white wine was fresh and cool.
Perfect place removed from the traffic if you want so sit outside and enjoy some authentic Sicilian food and a kind service. Loved the mussels with pepper and the spaguetti with sardins. Payed just 3 euros for 66cl of peroni.
An outside table in an interesting courtyard, waiters with great senses of humor, and good food. A seafood & vegetable couscous, a perfectly grilled swordfish, and a delicious, sweet insalata di polpo (octopus salad), followed by an absolutely divine semifreddo of almonds. Not the best of the trip, but a very pleasant experience
Off the beaten path classic little Italian restaurant frequented by locals -- always a good sign. Antipasto buffet (~€4) is excellent -- load your plate up as it is only one trip to the tables but is sufficient. Good staff & service -- always important.
I had pasta cabusone, and the octopus salad. The salad was pretty good, perhaps needed a bit more seasoning. The pasta was just okay. I was the only person in the restaurant that midday, so the service was very good! I don't think I have a big enough sample of the food to really consider this a solid review of... More
Wonderful pasta dishes, especially pasta norma, pasta carbonara and pasta con sarde, and LOVE the 5 euro antipasto buffet, which is outstanding. Excellent service and beautiful, atmospheric setting. We dined here twice and would go back in a heartbeat.
This restaurant was recommended by my host on Airbnb. It didn't disappoint. The staff were very welcoming and treated us like family. The octopus salad is amazing you can taste the sea, simple lemon, and parsley, the remoulade of swordfish, spaghetti with clams, mussels were delicious. The prices are very good and you can see yourself spending more - but... More
We suffered 1st of January 2016 from lack restaurants due to New Year celebrations and holidays. That place was unexpectedly good. They provide only fixed menu but do it very well. All the menu was sea based. We had 1 full menu and 1 small menu for 50 EUR, it was good price comparing to other lunch/dinner experience. Location on... More
