We ate a quick lunch here because we had heard great things about it and it was right by Palazzo Pantaleo where we were staying (loved that B&B!). There were many vegetarian options including arancini, panella (chickpea) sandwich, little pizzas, etc. The staff there was extremely helpful in helping us to pick out vegetarian options. They went above and beyond!... More

Difficult to find. You have to enter a palazzo gate and access from inner courtyard. Packed full and best sign of all, all locals inside. No seating available but you can live by it.

This place closes at 230 each day, closed on Sunday's. It is so busy you have to get a numbered ticket. We went for a plate of 8 pastries and 2 bottles of ginger beer and chinotto for €5.60. Little arancini, pizza, cheese filled doughnut pastry and others. Very fresh and delicious. We felt we had enough for lunch.

In terms of Sicilian street food, it was alright. We had a mixture of the different items on offer. The spaghetti on was interesting, though there are better arancini al ragus in Sicily and the other flavours were fine. Though the panzerotti was good! Everything was fresh. Worth a try if you are in town. Go early to avoid queues!

Very good street food to go. Unfortunately no one spoke English. We were depended on the help of two English speaking citizens. We had Arancini with mozzarella. Recommended.

Food was delicious and cheap. The staff speak a little bit of English which is helpful. I'd recommend getting a mix of things and sharing to try everything.

Being advised to go there to do something very local from the hotel, we went to the place a bit after lunch time, early afternoon. The place is hidden yet close to the main roads so it wont be too difficult to find. Despite that lunch time was gone, place was packed with locals (Or simply Italians) ordering the food... More

My wife and I had some of the delicious street food served here while on a walking tour around Palermo. The croquettes were excellent and the price is right. There are loads of similar places in Palermo, but this was one of the better ones that we tried, and it is worth searching for if you are in the neighborhood.
