Popped in here for a glass of local red..Got talking to some other visitors and before we knew it we had lost the afternoon! Lots of choice of wine..We didn't try the bruschetta but our new friends raved about it. We did however work out way through a few glasses of delicious spumante. Staff here are friendly but direct and... More

They recommended wines for my wife and I and served us a wonderful open sandwich with local sausage and cheese as well as a mixed Italian cheese plate. The people were great and helped us with the wines and the food. We left the wine bar full of good food and great wine.

No wonder this place is so highly rated. Two Japanese ladies were running the counter and were delightfully helpful in helping me choose a proper local Tuscan wine pairing for my cold cuts and cheese plate... service was fast, food was excellent, prices ultra reasonable for what I got. Why four stars? The bar is uncomfortable to sit at and... More

We found this place accidentally while having a stroll in the morning and we returned in the afternoon for some wine. We opted for a platter of cheese, salami and wine of course! Great atmosphere, exceptional service but it is off the beaten track! I consider it one of the hidden gems and I highly recommend it. Value for money.

Small bar that offers a variety of cheese, "charcuteries", foie gras and others, with quality wine. Service is made by professional, smiling and helpful staff. It was recommended by a local friend who loves pairing good food and wine. A hidden gem in the middle Florence.

We went here due to reviews and were not disappointed it's a cosy small bar with a great wine selection and lovely local produce we sat at the bar and enjoyed several different wines they recommended with some great food. We nearly missed it when looking for it so keep and eye out as its small.

This is a small wine bar tucked out of the way down a side street near the Ponte Vechio in Florence. You must find it as it has a great selection of good local Italian wines. While you sample a few wine try their small snacks they are very delish and go perfectly with the wines. When the bill arrives... More

We love this spot that sits near the Ponte Vecchio. When the weather is nice there are outside tables and the inside is very charming. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Food is simple but off the charts good!

Feel like a local by having wine and small bites at that small wine shop/restaurant between the ponte vecchio and Pitti Palace.

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
