Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic. The food was delicious, I had the best rabbit I've ever had - braised with peppers, raisins and I don't kow what else, but lovely. My wifes melanzane parmigiani was similarly excellent. Dessert was biulled as cheesecake which irt wasn't really but whatever it...was it was delicious.! Lovely relaxed 'local' atmosphere (we tourists always look for places where there is noone like us, thus spoiling it for ither tourists!) Great value for money tooMore

1. Poor services; 2. Very dirty toilet; 3. Overbooked / double-booked and we have been asked to pay and leave before having finished our main course; and 4. Lack of basics like lemonade, soda or sparkling water.

One of those depressing experiences where the evening is ruined as you leave. After a nice meal, what seemed reasonable service, good atmosphere, I got the bill and paid by card. Only later did I notice that the amount charged was greater than the amount...on the bill. Dumb tourists, they thought no doubt. It's just plain dishonesty. It stinks.More

Perfect pasta, great service and very nice atmosphere. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente, our favourite was definitely the tortelli di patate al ragu Toscano. Hidden in the narrow streets of Oltrarno, this place is a must!

My co-worker visited Florence the year before me and highly, highly recommended this place. He said he went there numerous times while he was in Florence. After my experience there, I can see why. I will keep it simple, I live in Texas, and I...love steak...the steak here was some of the best I have had. It was a perfect medium rare. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was excellent. I will definitely be return to Trattoria I'Raddi if I go back to Florence.More

This restaurant is tucked away in a narrow side street, but worth finding. It has a relaxed local atmosphere, with more local people than visitors (at least on my visit for lunch on a Sunday). The food is typical Tuscan. I found the Tortelli particularly...interesting, which has a pigeon and potato filling. The service is good. Prices are typical for the San Frediano quarter.More

Stayed for a week in Florence, somehow found this place the first full day - it was wonderful. Quite rustic, no tourist menu, not much English spoken but the staff went out of their way to explain what everything was and what they recommended. We...ate there 3 times in the week and had something delicious very time. Special mention to the coccoli, bistechina, roasted chicken and the wine from the barrel in the corner is brilliant.More

Our airbnb host had recommended this restaurant to us and we regret going. The steak wasn't rare - it was 100% raw. The restaurant doesn't have AC so everyone was sweating. All in all terrible dining experience and would not go back.

Lively atmosphere in a traditional environment, and very kind service. You find also local dishes on the menu. People come and go (tourists and local people), but they manage to keep the service top!

This Trattoria in the Santo Spirito quarter, is owned by a former ball carrier from the team of the "Bianchi", who compete in Firenze's Calcio Storico. The game is a brutal contest of mediaeval origins, which makes rugby and Aussie rules look like tag. The...restaurant has a definite macho feel to it, and there are coats of arms, trophies and boxing and Calcio Storico memorabilia all around you. The menu is profoundly Tuscan, with home made pastas, and hearty meat dishes, crafted from their own reared beef. The table next to me ordered the famous Fiorentina steaks, which were huge, on the bone and clearly much appreciated. I went lighter, but very much enjoyed a place of "casarecce" with a tuscan sausage, tomato and vegetable sauce, washed down with a glass full-blood chianti; sheer bliss.More

Definitely off the beaten path - we never would have discovered it without the recommendation. We were the only non italians in the restaurant - which I take as a good sign. There isn't much English spoken, but they actually do have a copy of...their menu in English. We started with the fried dough (based on recommendations on TA). Mouth watering! How could you go wrong with fried bread, soft cheese and prosciutto!More

Service was great. Actually, every dish was good. They even had Amaro from Calabria (that I love). We had three courses plus coffee and Amaro. The food in general is not great in Florence but this place did not disappoint.

This place is a bit off the beaten path, but it is worth finding. Loved the fried dough, cheese, prosciutto starter and we had an amazing cut of beef. Staff was terrific and very friendly.

We went there for lunch. Even though we arrived shortly before closing time, the owner welcomed us in. Everything we ordered was really, really good. The stake was one of the best stakes we ever had. Highly recommended. A note to those who like their...stake well done. The stake is medium-rare. It has parts that are not cooked and the restaurant will not cook it extra for you, because this is the authentic way to cook it. 😊More

We didn't make a reservation when we went but I would definitely ring up just in case, especially if there's more than two of you.
