After reading all the reviews on TA we made this trattoria a must for our visit to Firenze. Wow were we disappointed. I made a booking via their website which ensured we had a table at this busy trattoria on a Saturday night. On arrival waiter eventually acknowledged us and seated us. Then put the menus down with some stale... More

Started with the Bruschetta Pomodoro and Caprese, which were both excellent. Where do they get such great tomatoes!! Then had the Roasted Chicken with the roasted potatoes, which both are the best! Topped the meal with Panna Cotta and to say the least, it was a meal to remember.

We were passing it by on the way to Cappella Brancacci chapel. Had lunch. Liked it came back for dinner. Traditional Italian food. Good prices and service . Dishes arrive quickly. Its very busy but has tables at the back in case you look through the window and dont see any available tables. We are planning to go there again

This was a recommendation from the host if the apartment we rented. We wanted good authentic Italian family food, and that is what we received. We enjoyed it so much we went back 3 times. Great value, great service, fabulous food in a very touristy town. We ordered different dishes each time we visited and everything was fabulous.

Great food great house wine and extremely friendly and wellcoming staff. I advice meat dishes and chese platter. The desets are heavenly. These people know how to cook and host. The meat was awesome. Tiramisu is also great. Although The menu and everything else is in Itallian, the staff help a lot. Eat meat anyway. By the way there is... More

Together with my wife and some friends ,we visited this wonderful establishment in October. The whole experience was the best part of Firenze food and wine. Terrific selection of local dishes, too numerous to highlight, with a great selection of regional wines to compliment. The service was impeccable on such a busy day , ( there was a wedding party... The wife and I had spent all morning hitting the tourist spots in Florence and when it came time for lunch we decided to check out Trattoria La Casalinga. What a GREAT decision! We spent 8 days in Italy and the ravioli, butter and sage dish from Trattoria was the best Italian fare I had. The atmosphere was fantastic, it... More

This restaurant is usually booked days in advance, but if you come at the opening time (7pm) they will fit you in before the evening rush hour (they politely request that you try to leave before 8:30pm). When we came at 6:50pm nobody was there yet, but by opening time maybe 15 people were waiting, who were all accommodated for... More
