Typical tourist restaurant. All they are after is your money, no quality on food, no attention to the customer. We Had two Fiorentinas, One was meant to be rare and one medium, but both were full of blood. Set Menu, including half a litre of water each and quarter of a litre of wine each, we had two set menus... More

We visited for lunch on Jan 8,2017. Some of the reviews must be from under old management as we found the food and service to be perfect. Very attentive staff and fantastic food. We certainly had no complaints and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a meal without the fanfare but with just good Florentine food and service

I was on holidays with my family in Florence and we visited this restaurant. 1) They served most of the dishes without potatoes/rice. So , you pay about 17 euros for a pork fillet without potatoes. 2) The brought us 3 portions of bread (for the 3 of us) without asking it. For the bread, we paid 3 x 2.50=... More

At first, we were reticent about eating here because of old reviews, but I learned quickly that this was under new ownership since September of 2016, We have had fabulous dining experiences in Italy since our arrival, but did not see anything close to our hotel that had special reviews. We walked by this restaurant on our way to our... More

Out of the 2 weeks we had travelling in Italy this was definitely one of the best restaurants we ate at! We both chose the handmade pasta and were amazed! You get great quality and quantity for what you pay for! The service is really good and the waiter was very friendly. The waiter recommended that he surprise us for... More

We ended up there because other places where either full or closed. The service was really slow and the food was depressing. I reccomend to avoid it.

Very pleasant and warm inside! Nice dishes, tasty and well proportioned. There is also outside, but inside is ok for couples.

We stumbled on this place early one evening and were totally charmed by it. It seemed to be filled with locals rather than tourists. The food was very good, the atmosphere relaxed and the service attentive without being intrusive. An unexpected delight was a young woman who played the bandura (a medieval Ukrainian stringed instument) and sang. She was wonderful.... More

The restaurant is cozy and nice (but I think that is impossible to find one in Florence that's not charming) As I was writing...the waiters are also very kind and friendly...but our dinner was too expensive...and the quality of too food was not so good.. my tortelloni were flavourless...and in terms of quantity...not enough!

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
