The restaurant has a small front area and a larger back area. We were one of the first of 2-3 parties to arrive as soon as they opened, and they seated us quickly. The food was great and the service was friendly and accommodating. My friend and I shared the pecorino and pear pasta, filet with mushroom sauce, baked onions... More

I suppose that after spending 3 days in Florence and being spoilt in most of the trattoria we went, this one was ok. If you are vegetarian the choices are very limited which is the first time in Florence that this was the case. The t bone steak looked good and my friends enjoyed it. No much to say about... More

Make sure you reserve a table here when visiting Florence. The classic T-bone they served was superb, very tender. We also had their ribollita, a delicious traditional soup with bread inside. It's a lovely family restaurant. The service was nice and warm. We really enjoyed our dinner here and will definitely come back again.

A small but cosy restaurant with a nice ambiance, nice staff and genuine Tuscan food! Opted for ribollita (soup with veg, beans and bread) and trippa fiorentina (traditional tripe in tomato sauce) which were both exquisite! The bread they serve is given still warm in a lovely basket Truly the place to go if you desire typical Tuscan cuisine! Small... More

Had a wonderful meal at this family restaurant. The pasta dishes we had were all delicious, but the pasta with pears and pecorino was amazing! We had their house wine which was also tasty. Save room for dessert, their pudin (not pudding) was great!

An unassuming restaurant with a non-commercial. Beef is very good, the taste of fresh jar makes this place a restaurant worth going back

Great service (especially the waiter Antonio), and great food. We had one of the best pastas I've eaten in a long time -- bonnet-shaped ravioli (whose name escapes me) stuffed with pear, pecorino cheese, and mascarpone), all served in a cream sauce. It was truly sensational, and I'm still dreaming about it. We also had bistecca fiorentino (quite competently done,... More

We ate at La Gratella as part of a tour group of 52 - despite the size of our group the food was served hot and delicious with the staff friendly and attentive. We were first served a Charcuterie of meats & soft pecorino cheese which was fantastic. Pasta course was tasty and the grilled steak fabulous. Highly recommend and... More

We were recommended this place on the "Florence for foodies" tour and it didn't disappoint. Make an evening of it because the service can feel more relaxed than most brits are used to, but with prosecco at €3 a glass......we just soaked up the atmosphere and enjoyed the buzz. The pasta was sensational (we shared a portion) and the florentine... More
